As far as I understand, this restaurant is only open at night, but the Sunday is also open for lunch. And in fact we tried it on a Sunday. The menu is evidently the result of a refined gastronomic research: there are some unusual dishes and ingredients. Here are our choices: as starters, artichoke salad with flakes of grana cheese... We had THE "capodonno"-diner in this restaurant. Every part of the meal was original and tasteful. THE choice of wines was excellent. We could not have had à better start of 2015.

On advice of a local friend I stopped in on a rainy Sunday for lunch. The food and was spectacular. I had a great Pisan minestra followed by a special fish. The service was superb and the atmosphere matched. Certainly an experience worth repeating.

I spent there an evening w my girlfriends. The courses that I ordered (terrina d'anatra con mirtilli and soup of chestnuts and mushrooms) were excellent.of note, the portions were slightly big. Big wine lists, with some choice even if you don't want to spend too much.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Whenever I'm in Pisa I eat here. The portions are perfect, the ingredients are fresh and the service is always friendly. The owner Luigi is a great host and knowledgeable about wine. Never a disappointing meal. It’s only 5 mins from piazza miracoli by car and 15 on foot, totally worth it!

Great spot not in a touristy location. Many locals and was busy. We read about this place in our tourist book and we're anxious to try it. We sat outside where there was about 7 cute tables but inside was very pretty and elegant. Service was fantastic. I'm not sure if he was the owner but was very welcoming and... More

We found this restaurant by chance as we were seeking out another mentioned in our Lonely Planet. We sat outside and they made room for us even though we didn't have a booking. The view isn't great, (sat on a small road) but at least you get some hustle and bustle of Italian life. Our waiter was faultless. Good English,... More
