Restaurant where you can find the original old plates of this lovely region, from the old recipe strait on your table. Of course the famous Fiorentina steak is the queen of the restaurant. With a wine list of around 200 wine labels from all round the Tuscany area, where you can find as well someone of the Italian's most famous.

One hell of a meat

The meat here was awesome! We ordered a 1.7 kg tagliata, half with artichoke while the other half was with rocket leaves and parmesan. Soooo good! We finished the whole dish with the four of us. The bruschetta was also good and I chose the cookie mousse with liquor for dessert. I left the... read more

This restaurant was recommended by several sets of friends. To be honest, if they hadn't recommended it we would have walked straight past. It looks like a hole in the wall and doesn't have kerb appeal. However once inside we were not disappointed!! This is well known and used by locals and now I know why. Warm and friendly staff... It is a small family Italian restaurant. The food is very good as well as the service. The wine choice is perfect.

Our Italian friend recommended this restaurant - he had his university graduation dinner here he liked it so much. We had an amazing octopus appetizer and great pastas with our lunch - my shellfish pasta was outstanding. While we were the first to arrive after their opening at 12:30 on a quiet Sunday, and were worried it would be empty,... More

This place came highly recommended by locals. It serves traditional Tuscan dishes, which generally means steaks. From the outside the place looks like a hole in the wall, but it is fabulous on the inside. They have a tremendous wine selection at very reasonable prices. While language was a bit difficult at times, it was not impossible to communicate with... More

We had one of the set menus in this lovely trattoria which was a feast of typical Tuscan dishes which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Our crostini antipasti was the first sign we were in for a special meal. Toasty warm there were several varieties far exceeding our expectation of what might arrive on the plate for only €5. The two stand out faves were one with a melty mix of speck and cheese and another with a shiny smear of prosciutto fat looking like... More

We went to this restaurant because we had a trying journey to Pisa and it was advertised on the map the hotel gave us and relatively convenient. I ordered pasta and lamb and my wife steak. We waited a long time and when the pasta arrived it was lukewarm and average. The waiter supplied two steaks which did not correspond... More

I was so excited to try this place because I was told they had great Chocolate Souffles and nookie. 2 of my favorites. I made a reservation to make sure I would get it on our trip, plus my husband would get his steak his favorite. Unfortunately they didn't have either of what I was wanting and wasn't going to...
