I had dinner here with some colleagues (attending a conference). The food was very hearty and filling - I had a stew and wild boar with cornbread, both delicious. Excellent service, special commendation to the waiter and his patience, due to my colleagues' long discussions about what to order on the menu. The restaurant itself has a rustic, comfortable atmosphere.... More

A nice, charmful restaurant that is bigger than it looks at first sight. The service wasn't too good, but the food was very tasting at a reasonable price. I paid €2 for dry bread, but it was OK because I only paid €3 for a good glass of wine. It's a nice restaurant with tasting food, but nothing spectacular.

A local friend took us otherwise we wouldn't have noticed the restaurant. The pastas were lovely, so was the rissoto and beef tartare. But the Fiorentine steaks being paraded out of the kitchen made us sorry we hadn't ordered them. Very nice experience.

Amazing food here, even unusual fare such as a porcini salad with parmesan. Excellent tagliata steak with porcini and duck with wild berries. On the outside the restaurant seems small and ordinary but the rooms inside and particularly upstairs reflect the charm of the early Renaissance building. Very busy, lots of people dining and service generally attentive although you may... More

We kept coming back to this restaurant when my family and I stayed in Pisa. They have the best homemade pasta at a reasonable price. Nice family run business. Clean toilets, good atmosphere too!

We ate here two nights running on a recent trip to Pisa. The wine is excellent, as you would expect from the impressive 'wall of wine'. The seafood pasta was so delicious we ate it on both nights, the meat roll starters were also delicious, but the loveliest of all was the steak in anchovy butter, I will remember it... More

This place, by far, is the best quality restaurant in Pisa I have ever been to. We have been there a couple of times and have tried different meals there. All of them are fresh and good. Recommended!
