Best meal in Tuscany by far. The creative combination of Sicilian and Tuscan flavors leaves one wanting more. After a serious of lackluster meals during our Italian vacation, we happened upon Da Pasquale. The food, a blend of Sicilian and Tuscan fare, is top notch. The service is impeccable, both genuine and attentive from wine recommendations to food and desserts. Everything down to the olive oil is worth the visit. I am a foodie and this is the... More

No wonder this place is no 1 on Trip advisor and well deserved it is too. No- where else came close. Excellent food, amazing wine list ( which you can lose yourself in for hours). and great hospitality in a lovely ambiance. We would have eaten here every night we were in Lucca if we could have got in. As... More

Great food with excellent service. As others have noted, Pasquale, the owner, is very friendly and knowledgeable about wine, food and Tuscany. To get full value of the Da Pasquale experience, we would recommend staying away from common dishes like Eggplant Parmesan and venture into their specials. We enjoyed their cod in an artichoke base (almost a soup). Also save... More

Super service by owner Pasquale, very friendly and giving a lot of details (although quite slow), great coperto with the best olive oil (one of best in the world), tasty food and quite a different choice than most tuscan places at this time of year. Cannot give a max for food as they got both our steaks wrong...too undercooked despite... More

Great Presentation everything was delicious and the prices are reasonable. The wine list is incredible and the presentation of the wines from the Pasquale was more than professional. The best place to eat in Lucca. Pasquale deserves the high praise from this and previous reviews. Don’t miss this place in Lucca. If you will not eat in Da Pasquale restaurant... More

We had the pleasure of dining with Pasquale (owner) on three occasions. Locals introduced us to him and he treated us like an old family friend. The food is top notch, he sources all ingredients from the best suppliers and knows most of them personally. Along with his wine recommendations, just take his advice. Trust me. Right down to serving... More

Had supper here on Sunday with husband and some friends. The ambiance is warm and friendly and the staff make you feel very welcome. The wine list is vast and the food choice varied and incredibly tasty with both meat and fish dishes. We had a wonderful evening and will certainly return in the near future.

We revisited the restaurant during our second stay in the city in October and once again it was top class and probably the best restaurant we have eaten in both for food and hospitality
