Miranda this Saturday was rather quiet. But excellent service, a very nice meny and perfect wines to accompany the food.

Visited Miranda's on recommendation but the greeting when we arrived was not very friendly. Perhaps they are tired after a long summer but if you are running a restaurant you should try to be welcoming. We were given a table and although the food was good it was the most expensive meal we (four of us) have had in Lucca. Not... More

...but don't venture to go for the main courses! The atmosphere is Bohemian, the staff is amicable and just the right bit crazy. The vinelist contains everything I need for a good evening out and the Antipasti are delicious. They should think about hiring a new cook though...

An edge of city restaurant with a low footfall, as a result people going there do so because they want to rather than on impulse. We met a couple in Viareggio who recomended it to us and we were not disappointed . Nice menu, reasonable price, friendly service and a nostalgic 1950's black & white romantic movie projected on to... More

Don't get me wrong, the food is great and you get what you want. Sometimes it gets a bit difficult to get your order placed which might be because of the foreign language. But they do their very best to help you. The food is always delicious and stands out for the price and quality. Definitely worth a visit!

Everything was lovely and food was quite tasty but it was a bit more expensive than one might have expected. Nonetheless, highly recommend it.

We happened to stumble upon this gem completely by accident. The decor, atmosphere, food and staff were all amazing. The charm of the exposed beams, candles everywhere, bottles of wine (everywhere),rustic furniture, black & white movie projected onto the exterior wall...the list goes on. The portions were good and the quality of the food was excellent! We sat inside, but... More

This was our first night in Lucca (with friends) and this restaurant was recommended by the waitress at our hotel. She was right. Four superb meals with Pigeon Risotto and Steak with a two cheese topping to name two. Accompanied by an Antinori (Pepoli) Chianti, which was also superb. Great busy little restaurant with a good atmosphere, excellent service and... More

Had a lovely meal, simple dishes but well cooked. Great atmosphere and very welcoming. Tables are close together but not a problem. Locals and tourists eat here The waiter explained all the dishes and was very patient. The pros secco was the best I have had.
