Way better that it looks

I had the best lasagne here! Their pizza is good as well as is the carbonara! I didn't expect much but was very pleasantly surprised! The head waitress was very accommodating and ruffled my sons blond hair, pinching his cheeks and kissing him - it was a genuine cuddle :-) I'd go again for great... read more

On the Sunday afternoon we visited, the outdoor seating area was crowded with locals (there was only one other table of tourists). The food was simple and delicious. We had the best tomato bruschetta we've ever had--outstanding bread, tasty tomatoes, garlic, and a bit of basil. The pizza had a blessedly crispy crust, which isn't always the case in this... More

Horrible food, worst dinner we had after one week traveling in Italy. Salad was not fresh, pasta was overcooked, rabbit was fried with dirty old oil then my wife was sick and end up at hospital, bread was not fresh! Waiter was not friendly. Run away: not worst your time and money. A pure scam! This explained why this restaurant... More

I had two lovely lunches here. Friendly service and good honest Italian food with lots of local dishes. The crostini were particularly yummy.

Tucked back in the corner of Piazza Bernardini is a great little restaurant. Yes, it does have one of the "warning" signs of a tourist-trap, but it definitely is not. Seeing all of the locals eating was a good sign and the lack of non-Italian speakers was another. We were grateful that the menu was bi-lingual and the setting the... More

Dined here by chance and it was a great find. It was off season and not crowded, just us and two groups of locals and an obnoxious English couple complaining rather loudly about everything (annoying but did not ruin our experience). I had carbonara and it was the best I have had in my month here. My sister had the... More

My wife and I visited this trattoria after a good meal at its sister restaurant, the Da Nonna Clara (which was closed the next few nights). We were very disappointed: the upstairs seating was in a faux Tuscan style but with loud pop music from a radio; the food was pretty grim as well. I had an insalata estiva in... More

We chose this restaurant after walking by 2 times. At first I was not convinced by the red-white table cloth you mostly see in tourist traps. When some locals arrived and took a place on the terrace, I was convinced. We all took pasta, so I cannot comment the pizzas, and the pasta was delicious. I took pasta with wild... More

The service here is fantastic...we visited this restaurant twice during our stay. The food was great, the location was amazing with outside dining. Definitely a place where locals and tourists alike eat. Definitely recommended.

Sat outside here for lunch in a quiet corner. Pizzas were quite good washed down with some local beer. What's not to like. Service good despite us being rather late for lunchtime. Last to leave.
