Wonderful!

We ate here last night after going to a puccini recital. The food was lovely, my husband had the lasagne which was the best I've ever tasted. We had the house wine which was very tasty. We were also lucky enough to eat there whilst they had live music. Great atmosphere, the owner is lovely and the... read more

It looked good but turned about a bit disappointing. The wine list was not very long, the wine we ordered was not the wine listed, light and disappointing, the waiter insisted it was the same though the label told a different story than the wine list. Food was standard.

Dined here on our second night in beautiful Lucca. Its very popular with the tourists as it offers a wine tasting event every day and is located right in the heart of the ancient city. Its quit small with tables both inside and outside - we usually eat inside when in Italy because they still allow smoking when you eat... More

We stumbled into this place after getting lost in Lucca. Our host/waiter Emanuel was extremely welcoming and attentive, despite being very busy. He was also very knowledgeable. We had an olive oil tasting plate with locally made bread--the wheat (black) bread was a stand-out. For main course, my wife had prosciutto-wrapped melon; fresh, ripe, delicious. I had a dinner salad,... More

What a wonderful spot to sit to enjoy an evening in Lucca! This place is tiny and perfect in our eyes with service being friendly, attentive, good humored and hospitable. We went for a glass of wine and were brought a complimentary plate of appetizers…chips, olives, cheese and our friendly waiter answered many questions about Lucca and its history and the... More

Booked an early dinner as it was right across the square from the Puccini and Verdi opera (which we had booked). The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful and nothing was an issue, the food was good and not too expensive, a great place to people watch, if that's your thing, enjoying some fine wines and watching the world go... Lovely wine tasting on the plaza within sight of the Duomo. The wines are excellent and flavorful and all from the local Lucca and Monte Carlo areas. Service was excellent and very handsome! A wonderful afternoon respite in a day of enjoying Lucca. Bravo!
