Found this place on the web while searching for another place. But the reviewes here on Tripadvisor were so good that we took a table in the garden by Ammodonostro. We ordered the tasting menu with a bottle of wine and everything was nice and beyond our expectations. Great place, nice food and friendly people.

I stopped in at this restaurant in the center of the old town, because it is open all afternoon and the one I had wanted to try was closed. They have a charming garden out back but I chose to sit inside because I liked the modern decor and perfect temperature. I ordered the onion soup, which was like a... More

From the outside it is nondescript but out the back USA lovely courtyard. Service is quiet and discreet. Wide range of food including 2 taster menus. The sea bass with courgette is to die for! Restaurant caters for young and old and is worth going out of your way to find.

The service is terrific, the atmosphere is wonderful (cozy in the winter and lovely a fresco dining in the garden in the summer). The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Off the beaten track - but well worth a short walk from Via Fulungo. The absolute only reason I do not give a full 5 stars is that... More

I highly recommend this restaurant. The menu list is extensive, all 4 of us got different dishes and they were all superb. They also have kids' menu, which our daughter loved - she got a pasta and then an entry - cutlet with potatoes - and a choice of juice. The service is very professional and the waitress spoke good... It was a good decission to eat dinner at this restauranr. We picked their 25 euro menu for four dishes and all were just great. Our daugther ordered ala carte. We are used to more side dishes along with the courses but I think that lack of these us quite Toscan. You can, however, order seperate side dishes which I... More

Lucca was not easy for G F food ( especially their ice cream), but when we found this place we were thrilled. It served the best GF bread I have had anywhere, and to feel confident in their gf pasta and puddings was a delight. Prices are not expensive here, it is very reasonable, I can thoroughly recommend it. Their... More

The food is excellent. Presentation is beautiful. Steps away from crowded by tourist streets the place is great choice for meal. The zucchini wrapped fish is delicious. Porcini pasta is excellent. The service is extremely good and personal.

I have been eating here for about 7 years now on my regular visists to Lucca - mailny in the summer a few times a year. I find the service great, and the food beautifully cooked and presented in a way that only Italians can do whilst keeping the ingreedients simple, but high in quality. I find some comments with... We found the restaurant just in passing. Seated under a big sunshade in the garden we took our time over a meal of delicately flavoured sea bass followed by the semifreddo. Looking forward to returning before our holiday is over and trying some of the dishes from the menu of the day.
