Had dinner here last night - and certainly a highlight of what had been two weeks of quite ordinary food elsewhere in Italy. We agreed it was the best meal we'd had to date. Friendly charming service with a smile. Fresh, clean, well presented food. The fish carpaccio and mussel & bean soup as starters were delightful. Chicken and pork... More

We spent our first evening in Tuscany here and we're very satisfied. The osteria serves local food and is very reasonably priced. Service is good and, although the food takes a while to arrive ( always a good sign it's being cooked from scratch) it's worth waiting for. Wine prices were very good too.

Following a few disappointing eating experiences during the previous few days this restaurant redressed the balance. Superb food, attentive yet unobtrusive service with a smile. Forget the restaurants that exist to fleece tourists... Give this one a try, you won't regret it.

Our B&B recommended this lovely restaurant and we were very impressed. We arrived without a booking around 9 and it was pretty full but as they new the B&B they found us a table. We enjoyed great local food/wine and even though they spoke little English were very friendly and helpful... The pepper steak and swordfish was a highlight...

Had arrived in the town about an hour before and after a lovely walk into the centre we were looking for somewhere for our Sunday lunch. We had passed many nice looking restaurants on the way but use the 'near me now' facility on TA to find somewhere where we were. This is just down the road and looking good... More

Best food we found in lucca also for a kid of almost two years. My wife suggest: big bathroom to change your kids.

We walked and walked and almost gave up but we found this gem. We were seated outside but 4 young ladies were seated next to us and out came their cancer sticks so we asked to be moved inside. They moved us willingly and it was a good choice. I highly recommend the most delicious risotto I've ever has- shrimps... More

This was recommended by our B&B. we didn't have a reservation and were not able to get a table on the terrace as a result. The staff were friendly and were able to give good advice on the menu. Decided to share one anti pasta, primo and secondi which caused some initial confusion, but was not an issue. Excellent seafood... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our wonderful B&B hostess Paola from Don Chisciotte B&B. This was a delicious restaurant, seemingly filled with locals. We got the steak with 5 sauces. It was awesome. We also go a pasta with olives and capers. The pasta was perfect. We loved the food here and the service was great.

We loved the ambience. It is a garage with bricks on walls. VEry nice, cozy and a familiar place! The owner was there helping the tables and the waiter was very helful on finding what we wanted (and she even recommend different for the table next to us - it was a famiy dinner for them). The wine was excellent... More
