Il locale e situato nel quartiere di ardenza Livorno, dove anticamente sorgeva una fiaschetteria, dopo diverse gestioni ed aver cambiato nomi : Al 77,da Carlotta, Faraoni ad oggi "La Madia", gestito da 10 anni dai patron Maria Rosa Chegai chef di origini Francesi e Fernando Solito sala di origini salentine. Dal connubio delle diverse culture, prodotti e sapori e nato un locale dall'impatto molto caldo e accogliente ma nello stesso tempo elegante, dove i gestori vi fanno sentire da subito a casa propria per degustare svariati piatti principalmente a base di pesce e deliziandovi con dei dolci fatti in casa il tutto in una atmosfera romantica.

Nice and quiet place with great local food and sea food and very nice service! great sorberto and ice cream selection!

Late visit by chance and pure luck turned out to be fantastic. Very nice wine card! We visited with our two young daughters (6 and 8) and they got their simple but very good pasta first. Our meals were made from heaven. Very friendly owners and ver helpful.

One has to drive to this location as it is far from the center and most of the hotels. Which we did and it was worth it. I have to admit I've had one of if not the best meals on the last 7 day trip to Italy. We were there with children and the only visitors in the restaurant... More

My husband and I were taken to lunch at La Madia by friends two days before Christmas. We live in Florence and the restaurant is in Livorno, about an hour's drive away.
