In the centre of Livorno, in Cavallotti square, you can't ignore this typical place, loud and lively! be ready to share your table with other people and not to read a menu, as they do not have one. If you are too picky, make yourself a favour and don't even get near it. What hits you as soon as you... More

We had a great meal. Had little idea what we ordered. But when it came we were not disappointed. The fish was fantastic and the wine was good and the bill very reasonable. We were only passing through and this restaurant was a treasure find.

I went there tonight and the food was very tasty - def. very good seafood and an awesome price! I plan on going again to eat the "pulpo" my neighbor was eating! Unfortunately for me communication was a bit hard as the first waiter did not speak english - I understood from her that there was no menu and she... More

I knew about this place from googling 'best pasta in Livorno'. Decided to give it a try and the experience was marvelous that I went back the day after. The food portion was big, for an Asian girl like me. The rosso was very affordable at €1 per glass. The mussels starter was so delicious and fresh. The side dish... More

This has been one of my favourite places to eat since it opened years ago, when I was still living in Livorno. I keep going every time I'm in town and I'll never forget the freebies I got the first time I took my german partner there- he had to try everything and the staff was great! Unfortunately, the last... More

After a day in Pisa we ended up at this osteria. Although there was a long queue we got quickly served with great local specialties.

We went to Livorno or Leghorn as my dad calls it since my dad wanted to visit the place he was at so much during WWII. This was a quaint restaurant with good food and they are known for their sandwiches. We were fortunate enough to get there early. They do not have a menu - you eat what the... More

We wandered around Livorno for a day and really enjoyed the waterfront park with its striking black-and-white promenade. It was about 25 minutes to walk back into the hisorical center of town for this restaurant, but it was on the way back to the train station anyway, so it was on the way. I can't say enough good about this... More

When my friend and I learned we were too late starting out on our originally planned excursion to the villages of Cinque Terre, we decided to spend the day in Livorno. Walking around we were happy to discover their open market, which was full of fun fashion and accessories besides all the wonderful fish, fruits, breads, olives, and other assorted... More

if you want to see and taste the real lighourne, its traditions and the people's way of life you have to get here and eat something. A sandwich, big and full of what you or the guy doing it prefere: ham, sausages, vegetables, sauce... Otherwise you can eat something at the osteria, seat down at a table where other people... More
