Good seafood and friendly staff

I booked this restaurant after reading many good reviews. We had mozzarella cheese and tomato salad to start. For main, my husband had seafood stew, a generous portion and very delicious. We visit this restaurant whenever we are in Livorno. Last night we had a started of spaghetti al pomodoro....like most restaurants in Livorno, they make the tomato sauce from fresh tomatoes. Then we had a delicious sea bream with potatoes. We didn't have a dessert, as we were full up, but they do a delicious green apple sorbet.

Great seafood with some specialty dishes, hard to find anywhere else ( bacalau). Very friendly service. Try the mussels, they're great! Don't bother with the deserts though. They don' t seem home made, but ready bought.

Thank you Barbara for the info concerning the parking (it would have been somewhat difficult without it) and the delightful lunch. Had a light lunch on September 15th on our way from Genoa to Arezzo (but would gladly go back when I have the opportunity) Excellent food preparation and presentation and very attentive service: Mozzarella and tomato salad was ok... Our 3rd visit to Gennarino and as Before very pleased with the food. Breasola w rucola and parmigiano cheese was my choise with a glass of house Red, excellent. My wife had the Spagetthi Vongole and she even did finish the spagetthi which is unusual. Will be back next time we are in Town.

Really good, this place has been suggested by the owner of a rental house! We went there even if it was not so busy, so we thought that was not good! We got in and we ordered two appetizers, one primo and one caciucco livornese! Everything was delicious specially the caciucco that you must try! We spent 45€ total and... More

Found this restaurant around the corner from our hotel. Ok, so Livorno is not the best place in Tuscany but this was certainly the best meal, particularly as it was one of the cheapest too. The atmosphere was very welcoming as the waitresses were extremely friendly. We had a seafood starter to share, which was fresh and delicious, and then... More

After discovering that our first pick, Osteria Melafumo, was full (and even demanded a table reservation), we came across this quiet Italian restaurant. Inside we found a single family. We had expected more since it was Sunday, but fewer people would mean better service, so we didn´t care. We were right! The waitress, a cute and somewhat shy woman in... More
