We celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary at this gem atop a steep hill in Fiesole, a charming village overlooking Florence. I made reservations and asked for a table with a view of Florence. We were not disappointed--what an extraordinary view! We were greeted by a warm, friendly staff and were immediately served a couple of glasses of prosecco. We entrusted... More

We enjoyed a marvelous dining experience at La Reggia last month. The views at night are breath-taking. Be sure to ask to be seated on the terrace. The service is very personal and professional. The wine recommendation was just what we were looking for. Our meals were truly outstanding. Anyone visiting Florence should spend an evening in Fiesole and enjoy... More

Fantastic location and great good value food and worth the climb from the square. If you can't finish your enormous Bistecca Fiorentina home, then get it wrapped and have it the next day!

We were recommended to this wonderful restaurant by friends that had just gone back home after a wonderful experience here. Although it is not so easy to access the drive and uphill walk is worth the while. Whatever you order will be excellent, Leonardo is the chef and his father Mario oversees everything. But Lucca is the best! Even Luiggi... More

We are so glad that we took a cab to this hilltop restaurant in Fiesole! What a lovely night view of Florence from on high. We were lucky enough to get a table outside with a view to boot! The service was wonderful, attentive, and the food itself was beautiful, tasty, and high quality. We were delighted to be given... More

After some disappointing experiences in Italy with both the food and the service, we were looking forward to this restaurant that we pre booked for the last night of our holiday; location and views if Florence excellent as expected, but the standout was the friendly attentive service and amazing food; particular highlights were the zucchini rolls and the steak alla... I'm sitting here finishing lunch with a complimentary glass of cognac to accompany my panna cotta dessert. Our lunch was superb and the service exceptional. I've been travelling the world for 10 months and this is one of the best restaurants I've eaten in. Do not miss!!

We had a dinner here with a group, it seemed that several plates were already waiting for us. Sweaty cheese, too thick slices of carpaccio, sticky risotto and a by far too big plate with meat. On top really impolite and uninterested staff. The desert and the good wines, combined with the view over Firenze have been the reason to... More

Lunch here is a great reward for the steep climb to the beautiful church and Franciscan monastery just beyond at the the top of the hill. A wonderful view from the terrace, and excellent and friendly staff bring fine food from the interesting menu, well prepared and served.

We found La Reggia based on a recommendation by the clerk in the museum for the Roman Ampitheatre in Fiesole. (He did us a good deed!) After a short, steep walk we found the restaurant and were seated without a reservation. (We were early, suggest you make a reservation as the place filled up on a Tuesday night.) Lovely food,...
