Restaurent is located with fantastic view over Florence. Food is very good and the service the best we had in Italy. Waiters are very polite and friendly. We received free (small) portions of wines and cheeses. When we didn't like the bread with liver that came with the bruschetta antipasti dish and left it on the plate, they immediately replaced... We were staying a mile or so down the hill, we wanted to visit La Reggia after reading the reviews. We asked our hotel reception to book us a table for the Saturday evening and a taxi and was told a member of the family would come and take us in their car. What service! Wonderful food, service, surroundings, an... More

Visited recently at lunch time- we got off the bus just before 12 and turned up at the restaurant- of course this was early for a European lunch and we were told to come back after 12. When we did we were cordially welcomed and had a very enjoyable typical Italian lunch meal. Service was good, great view. Given a... More

Up to the Fiesole hill, this place worth while some walking to reach it. At the top, just above it, a convent with a breath-taking panorama on the city of Florence. This as a starter and dessert! The restaurant in a typical environment takes advantages of the position but also the menu and wine selection won't disappoint you! I had... More

Great food, great wine, great view but above all great service. I don't think I have felt so welcome when dining in a restaurant before. So good we went back again. Love the little extras you get at the start and end of your meal. My compliments to the management, the chefs and the waiting staff. Top notch.

This was a wonderful experience in an extremely special location! The food was delicious, the service was excellent - I had booked a table with a view and - wow! I really got a table with a spectacular view. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and can't wait to go back!

The food and service were amazing. They were able to accommodate a large party of 15 with only a few hours notice. The host/server/owner was so kind ...it was an absolute pleasure to dine there. We had some older aunts/uncles eating in our group and they found tbe walk up the huge incline to get to the restaurant a bit... More

1. The View: Spectacular in summer. Get a table outside and enjoy a wonderful view of Florence lying below. Call to book. 2. The Food: Start with a frittata with truffles. Also other antipasti are great. For a primo pls take tagliatelle with truffles. Mario, the owner, outdoes himself. As a secondo either go for tagliata or bistecca and please... More

Going up to Fiesole for the day? This is the place for lunch. Reservations a must. Lovely outdoor terrace with great view of the Tuscan countryside. Excellent food and service. Try the pear ravioli!

We returned to La Reggia degli Etruschi after a two year hiatus and wondered if it was still as good as back then---short answer: yes! The owner/chef, Leonardo, exudes such passion for his trade and works very hard to please. The views are still spectacular of course. The climb up the hill is strenuous (take the number 7 bus from...
