Love Fiesole and this restaurant! Food was fantastic and service the friendliest and best during our stay throughout Florence and the Cinque Terrre. Highly recommend. The Duck, the Pear Pasta, the appetizers, vegetables everything was delicious. Guessing past not so great reviews an off night. We loved this family restaurant. Beautiful drive and views from Florence, so much we made... More

This place is Amazing...We went there for our anniversary after that some friends of us recommended this restaurant... the food is Amazing, all the vegetables were very fresh and the fresh pasta was home made...we had a table on the terrace and from there you can enjoy the great view of Florence which was fantastic... the staff is very profesional... My wife, son and I had dinner there July 21. The view is nice from the area outside the restaurant. You can hardly see Florence from the restaurant itself, even sitting in the top level. The food was good, but nothing to make it even one of the top 10 restaurants in Florence. Service was good.

Our experience at La Reggia degli Etruschi was "The Tale of Two Restaurants". It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. The evening started out brilliantly with a complimentary car ride up the steep hill and a welcome glass of wine upon our arrival. Some of the food was quite good (the crescent pasta with pear... The food was generally good, as most of the reviews say, but I don't understand all of the raves about the unbelievable view. The view from the terrace is pleasant, but much of it is hidden by the trees and one gets only little glimpses of Florence. If you want a really amazing view of Florence, you should bring a... More

Okay. If you go to Florence, you MUST take a daytime trip to the small village of Fiesole for not only the stunning views of Florence, but this restaurant. Huge range of meals (and prices!) Stuck to pasta (approx. 12euro only!) and it did not disappoint. Authentic pasta, tasty sauces and a fabulous risotto. Super friendly service (free cheese board... More

The restaurant is in an absolutely fantastic location, we walked up from Florence (took about 90 mins) and then caught the number 7 bus back from the Fiesole main square at the end of the night(starts and ends in main square next to roundabout). It's a bit of a climb up the final street to the restaurant but when we... More

Eating well in Italy is no news. Nonetheless, even by Italian standards, this is simply a wonderful restaurant. The views on Florence are stunning, the atmosphere warm and cozy, the service perfect. And the food... Italian with a twist, light and tasty, traditional and innovative. The tagliatelle al tartuffo were the most perfumed ever, the antipasto with mushrooms, whose name... More

La Reggia was recommended by a friend and they did not disappoint! The service and food was excellent. It is located up a pretty steep hill, and if you need help, they will drive down the hill to pick you up and drop you off after dinner. We had a wonderful experience here!

we were there for a baptism in a very hot day on July. Actually the owner told us several times he would have been very happy to help us to arrive to the restaurant (you need to climb to arrive to the restaurant). The food was excellent, we had several different entries (scrambled eggs with truffles my fav!), risotto with... More
