Tried this great steak restaurant for our first night in Florence. My wife was recommended to it by our hotel as well as being highly Zagat rated. Cute, below the street restaurant, that is bigger than it seems. Converted from a wine cellar a very long time ago. White table clothes and up scale service. The location is a small... More

We chose Buca on hotel recommendation. Mistake. It is nowhere near a top-rated place. It was an overpriced, tourist trap.We were fools. Those that like it are not accustomed to fing dining. Period. If you're looking for basic, expensive, outdated recipes, you've come to the right place. The dessert cart has basic cakes with berries-not an ounce of creativity; like a... More

Underground warren of rooms, makes this restaurant feel quite initimate despite it's size. Fantastic service, very friendly, happy and helpful waiters added to the experience.

WOW. The florentine steak was the best we ever had. Amazing service and atmosphere and the price is right too!

Other travellers send us to this restaurant. The service was good and enthousiastic. The food was very bad!!! (and fat) and very very expensive. It was the worst we had in hole Italy in 2 weeks! You may think it is cosy, but inside it's very big and only toerist go there.

I've been here before, but this meal tops it all. We started with an exquisite combination of appetizers: insalata di zucchini with truffle sauce, which combined amazingly well with the bresaola. Then I had the pollastrino, or roasted chicken, my friend the grilled lamb, and her niece the wild boar. All in all, beyond any expectations. Our waiter was a... More

We came for dinner August 20, 2014 at the recommendation of our hotel. It was a bad choice for us and hard to believe Michelin rated. The service was quick to the table but slow thereafter. The house red wine was excellent.I ordered a caprese salad (14 euro for a very small portion with bland tomatoes) and baked lasagna (greasy).... More

still dreaming about it today! also service is excellent, the waiters are funny and charming, and they even give you a free gift as you leave the restaurant (and this is not some gimmick, it's worth going there for the food alone even without gifts!)

Very friendly people, bonissima pasta, I strongly recommend the place. The place requires reserve, but we were lucky to find a table, the lovable hostess helped us. Fui muito bem atendida por todos. Adorei o lugar e voltaria sem dúvida. Recomendo!

Visited this nice restaurant on 10th of August. Everything during the visit was excellent starting from the warm welcome at the entrance. We ordered carpacho, mushroom salad and florentine steak with a bottle of wine. The food was really good and worth every cent spent. However, after we finished food with half of the bottle of wine, I felt dizzy... More
