My nan has coeliac disease so can't eat any wheat or gluten. So my grandad searched up 'best gluten free restaurant in Florence' and this came up. So we decided to try it. We came in and the set out was beautiful. The staff are extremely friendly and speak perfect English! When the main meal was sent out we all... More

I have celiacs disease, and this restaurant was able to accommodate me nicely. I enjoyed a nice salad and risotto. The building that the restaurant is in is truly a vintage Florentine gem. Lovely family photos and paintings decorate the entire restaurant. It's apparent that the business if founded on love. The only thing I was disappointed about was that... More

The food was superb, from the mushroom carpaccio to the bean soup and a chateaubriand that melted in your mouth. Service was a bit slow due to above average clientele because of Pitti Fashion Week, but we were rewarded by a complimentary half bottle of the house wine. Well worth the wait!

We happened upon this restaurant while walking around Florence. What a great find! The restaurant is really Ciro and Sons as their are family pictures throughout. The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Lovely place with great service and food. It is family owned and operated. The dessert and grappa are excellent. Be careful with the grappa!!

Don't go to Florence without eating here. There a few restaurants that make you feel like you are dining in their home. This is one! Be sure to order desert. The best part is being served by Mercedes.

Plenty of gluten free options on the menu and the staff were really helpful in identifying what options were available. Food was delicious and fresh. Good atmosphere and not too touristy. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Florence after a nice spot for dinner and it is a must for any gluten intolerant people visiting Florence.

We are total VPN pizza snobs (Naples Style Pizza certified) and came here for lunch today on 2 recommendations - Peter Reinhardt's book 'American Pie - the quest for the perfect pizza' and the recommendation of the owners of the apartment we rented just down the street. It did not disappoint!! The service was exquisite. The Ciro sons, Guiseppe and... More

Doesn't seem possible that it's been seven years since our first chance finding of this fabulous family run restaurant in Florence. Happily nothing has changed with the brothers' sparkling personalities and knowledge of food. The best mouthful on the whole Florence stay was a William pear and ricotta ravioli from my husband's plate. Incredibly good service as well. A very... More
