At end of our week long trip to Italy I asked my girlfriend which of the many great meals we had experienced was her favourite. Without needing to think about it she instantly said Enoteca Pitti. I just so happened to agree. However it didn't start all that well as the outside table we had reserved was still occupied when... More

The food was absolutely excellent even though we were a bit disappointed to miss out on the "dinner with the owner" as it is booked months out. Instead we arrived around 2pm on a Tuesday and had the wine tasting lunch for 35 Euro a person. The food was terrific from the steak tar-tar to the daily special (crab-stuffed ravioli).... More

This is just as much of a must as seeing Michelangelo's David when in Florence. Absolutely fantastic place and the taster lunch was well worth the 35 euros per person price tag and more. I've eaten at many Michelin star places and this was just as good. In fact it is the best meal and restaurant experience I've ever had.... More

After visiting the Pitti Palace my husband and I decided to rest our feet and have a glass of wine so this was the perfect spot. Facing the entrance to the Pitti Palace you have a perfect view of all that happens in that square. They have a huge wine list all from the local area. They are boutique wineries... More

This place was recommended to my girlfriend and I by Natalie at Florence For Foodies, so we were expecting good things! Located directly opposite the entrance to Palazzo Pitti, the place is in a prime tourist location which would normally set alarm bells ringing, but thankfully the recommendation was a good one. We just missed the lunch serving (until 3.30pm)... More

I reserved a dinner with an owner for my wives 50th Birthday. I requested owner Zeno to be our host. What a great host he turned out to be. His food and wine parring choices were excellent. He even found a bottle of penoit grigio from 1964 .Zeno was a lot of fun and made us feel right at home,... More

First night of a week in Italy, what could be better than interesting tapas style food each one complemented with a different wine. A great way to try some more obscure wines. Staff were very knowledgeable and explained why they had chosen each wine. Started with a lovely courgette flower stuffed with cheese, beef tartare then shared a pasta ossa... More

Made reservations here based on some reviews, and we were thrilled with the dinner. Zeno is the proprietor, and is very passionate about wine and wine pairing. He asked a few questions about what we liked, and immediately the wine experience began with a nice glass of Sangiovese. The food menu is small, but well done. With each course, he... More

Across from Palazzo Pitti and looking into the square, this restaurant/enoteca is about as good as it gets. I recently took 3 guests there for dinner and wine tasting and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. We selected 4 dishes to share and Edoardo Fioravanti, one of the owners, suggested the wine pairings. The pate with a vin... More

We had just one day in Firenze and had booked this place in advance based on the good reviews. There are only a few tables - so make sure you book in time! We had a table outside which was nice. Location is very good, just by the Pitti Palace. Even if this is a place where the wine is... More
