Better places around, but nice

Considering the location, faces some stiff company. Drinks were only ok, and quite expensive: this makes sense, for 1 euro more you can stuff your face with a buffet dinner. Alas, we did not do that, so I can't judge it on that element, but the drinks themselves were only just ok. Service was slow... read more

Visited with friends for a pre dinner cocktail. 4 of 5 drinks were undrinkable, the only one that was ok was an aperol spritzer. Service too a long time and, when we asked for ice to see if we could improve the disgusting drinks, we had to go inside and find it ourselves after 10 mins of waiting. AVOID!!

I loved the chilled atmosphere, sitting out in the square of Santa Spirito. The snacks were delicious (I'm a vegetarian and there was a nice selection for me) My daughters mojito wasn't the best I've tasted but my Bloody Mary was lovely!

Very popular with expats and tourists (Giveaway sign with the advert for Soya milk) but a very nice and laid back cafe on the excellent Santo Spirito Piazza. The outdoor seating is resally generous and there are great acoholic drinks too. Staff are quick, it is very popular.

You can't say you've experienced the true Italian feeling on your holidays if you don't do the aperitivo ritual, at least once: In the evening, order your reasonably priced drinks and the buffet is all yours for free! God, I love Italy!! So, a nice place for aperitivo in Florence is PopCafe in Piazza Santo Spirito. Nice cocktails (we had... More

The position is perfect in one of my favourite squares Piazza Santo Spirito although the cocktails are tastless and the service awful. Many other lovely bars in the square don't bother with this one

whilst recently on holiday in florence, my girlfriend and i were out walking, we had gone to santo spirito and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime, most of the places were only doing full menus and we just wanted a sandwich, we happened upon 'popcafe' after looking at most of the places around the area... Don't even bother with this bar. There are so many other worthwhile and fabulous places to choose from around the square and district of Santo Spirito. The snacks were awful for aperitivo I had to go over to the cafe on the other corner and buy a few packets of crisps. Mohito was made with white sugar and not drinkable.... More

Went to Piazza Santo Spirito after reading about it on T.A. Admittedly we went at lunch time so might miss some of the ambience one might get in the evening. Met by a surly disinterested waiter who took our order. He returned with the drinks whilst talking on his phone. The bar itself is shabby, people seem to think that... More

Probably the best aperitivo i have ever had. Great cocktails and great service for a very affordable price!
