We had to wait until late to get into this restaurant. I think the staff was a bit tired and rushed at this point, therefore the experience may not be typical. We were seated right away. The waiter/owner(?) gave us a quick run down of specials and answered some questions. We were a little confused on some of the items... More

This place looks a lot better than it actually is: the menu on the door is nicely designed, it looks kinda secret and special, the decor is kitsch-cool. The food itself wasn't so good -- although part of that can be put down to what we picked. I had prawns to start and they were cold & seawatery -- perhaps... More

The trattoria, it's located in the other side of Arno River, the area it's not so crowd. We entered there because other trattoria was closed. Food was good and well priced, it was a good range. We did not like the service, because the owner was so unpleasant with tourist. If I spend my money I want a good service.

Excellent food. Variety of dishes. Very satisfactory service. Our waiter was extremely experienced, helpful and kind. The decoration was very interesting.

Restaurants in Florence can get really expensive really fast with cover charges and service charges. Angiolino was recommended by my hotel, and I liked that it was less modern-looking than some other restaurants I had been to. It was also the *only* restaurant I went to during my two weeks of traveling in Italy where I got a menu in... More

Nice and cosy place. Delicious food. We had carpaccio as a starter. Then gnochetti and risotto (fiori di zuccini). We finished the dinner with panna cotta and tiramisu. We enjoyed everything.

You won't leave hungry as the meals are most fulfilling. We found the waiters gave quick good service but we were there early and they were not too busy. Good selection of wines and our meal was tasty.

We enjoyed a lovely meal in this restaurant. We shared some ravioli cooked in sage butter to start which melted in the mouth. Then we followed with the Florentine Steak and Osso Buco. Both were delicious. The steak was absolutely huge and the most tender steak I could remember eating in a very long time. The Osso Buco was also... More

We had a delicious meal in one of the other restaurants around and so we planed to just have a dessert in this one. It was 21:30 so time for a dessert. The restaurant Angiolino is the only place that was rather empty on a Friday evening. First impression was that the quite old waiter is a bit rude since... More

We came here recommended by our hotel. We didnt see the menu as the waiter took great care of us and serve us squsita bistecca and potatos. Strongly recommend Angiolino. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked, the place is charming and the service was outstanding!
