We searched this place based on some critic's review. I have been on Tripadvisor for over 10 years and never wrote a review but greatly appreciated all the great feedback for all our trips. My family was was greatly offended by their service as we were just there 15 minutes ago. We ordered a 4 scoop for 5 euros and... More

We have eaten lots of gelato in Florence but this is the best we had. Try the fico, bana and rum scoops when you are there. They are very, very good!

My husband was working during our stay in firenze and i enjoyed myself by trying loads of icecream places. This was by far the best in town. I LOVE fruity ice so i can only vouch for those flavours. But they were amazing. The first time it took me a while to find the place and i actually had given... More

Wow, beat ice cream in Florence. The Vivoli brothers started making ice cream in 1932. There will be a line when it opens, just a stone throw on a small street from the Piazza Santa Croce, all you have to do is ask where the ice cream place is. Everyone knows. Be sure to know it is closed Monday's.

My third time in Florence and it took me a while to find it; I did not remember the street neither the name but yes the place and little square. I'm kind of picky and demanding about ice-cream and must say that the chocolate mousse ice-cream and the coffee mousse ice-cream were fantastic but, as I did not have enough... More

Fine, but you can find MUCH better gelato elsewhere ( Carraia for example). Too sweet and undeveloped flavored. Tasted a little bit watery.

The raspberry and blueberry scoops were so good, I just stopped in my tracks to enjoy the full flavours. . In my opinion, definitely one of the best in Florence!

The best Gelato in Italy. I tried gelato in many places but this was my favorite. The espresso/tiramisu gelato was my favorite combo. Real coffee beans. MMMMMM I want some right now. Off the beaten path and a hidden gem. Look for it. You won't be disappointed.

Great flavors and great gelato. The consistency is wonderful. Creamy, sweet, and thick. Great flavors too. I went with the chocolate chip and chocolate hazelnut. It's a little off the path, but worth the walk. You pay first then order. The flavors aren't in English, but the staff will translate for you.

After going to Vivoli, it was a while ago, I've never even tried to make gelato at home, even though I've an ice cream maker. The fruit flavor that came through was delicious and that's due to skill and local fresh produce. After a four-hour dinner with a small glass of vin santo we'd walk through the streets and get...
