Perfect for When You Don't Want Another Pizza

Having traveled at length throughout Italy, Tijuana is the perfect place to head to when you just can't eat another pizza or plate of pasta. They serve up decent Mexican style dishes that leave you full. My husband and I have eaten there on several occasions over the years and the service and food... read more

Very good Mexican food in Florence when/if you need a break from Italian food. Drinks and cocktails were very good. Nice selection of margaritas. Has a wide selection of entrees including vegetarian items. Service was also very good. Would definitely return to eat here again.

I've been living in southern Italy for two years and after making a nearly 5 hour drive to Firenze this is the place my wife and I crave. Their margaritas are the best outside of North American and their food is the closest you can get to authentic Mexican. We love this place and return every time we are in... More

Loved going here with friends while I was studying abroad. Good change from all the italian food. The frozen margaritas and nachos are delicious!

Go for Happy Hour! Frozen drinks that are incredible in the summer heat. Try one of each flavor. My favorite is the piña colada.

Had a authentic Mexican dinner tonight that was delicious. The tacos, fajitas and black beens were prepared with just the right amount of spices. The margaritas were good and since it was happy hour the price was economical. The server was friendly and did a nice job. If you are looking for a change from Italian cuisine then this is... More

We wanted a break from pasta, and we love Mexican food, so, despite some negative reviews on TA, we gave it a crack. It was excellent. The staff could not have been nicer, the food was tasty, plentiful and cheap. Best of all, it was happy hour, so the margarita's were 4 euro and huge. Maybe it's just us, but... More

I was studying abroad for two months in Florence and went to this restaurant several times. The service is very slow and the food is average and a little overpriced. But, the last time we went was when we decided to never go back again. Our waitress was extremely rude to us because we were American, while being very nice... More

We entered Tijuana and the waiter said "we only serve Mexican food" as if that might surprise us. To his apparent disappointment we sat down. They only have Danish and U.S. beers on tap and were out of 60% of the Mexican beers listed in bottles to my disappointment. We had stale nachos with cold beans and not much flavor.... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
