Great restaurant - dress smart but not bar/club gear smart as clientele is mainly rich tuscan families. Food is real italian - I had rare carpacio of beef with parmesan shavings, my partner risotto - both impressed desserts come on a trolley! My wife and I have been to Florence a number of times. The hotel we stayed at recommended this restaurant and it was a great find! The food was excellent, not cheap but not unbelievably expensive. Went with my friends in April to Florence. Saw the plaque outside, I'm not so sure if the restaurant was opened in 1603... Traditional interior noted upon entering. Staff were friendly.
