Perche No! is not only delicious, it is one of only 2 gelato shops in Florence that make their own original style product. (The other one is over by Santa Croce). The rest of the gelato in Florence is tasty but it is factory made and trucked in. So if you want REAL Italian gelato, Perche No! is a must!

There is a lot of gelato available on the streets of Florence. Ive rented a house and am here for two weeks, so getting lots of shots at it. I know this place is a favorite among many, and I thought it was very tasty, but really pretty average in a town of really great ice cream. I had the... More

We had pistachio and creme caramel (I think!), and both were so delicious! They really pack it into the cup, so it's great value. One of my favourties, definitely worth having along with many other gelateria in Florence. Very memorable for it's name as well. "PERCHE!! NOOO!!!"

On a recent trip we sampled a lot of gelato. And I mean a lot of gelato. This place was head and shoulders above the others. The pistachio flavor tasted like you were eating fresh pistachios as opposed to gelato with some chemicals added to give the impression of pistachios. All the favors we had were rich and creamy. I... If you are looking for a quaint, little place with a gargantuan selection of deliciousness that this is the place for you! Their gelato is definitely above average, although if you are looking for the absolute best, I would keep looking! If you are on a mission to end an outing Italiano style then remember the name "Perche No!"

Stopped there after the Segway tour. It is not the most obvious place, since it is small and slightly tucked away in an alley from the main drag. Amazing texture, great taste and not expensive at all. It was the best Gelato I had on my trip through Italy.

Excellent texture and flavor, super friendly service. Price and quantity absolutely compatible to other gelaterias in Italy. Don't miss this place.

We were advised by our hosts to go here. We then didn't go anywhere else all week. The usual gelato shops are gaudy and artificial looking but Perche No was NOT. The flavours were changed daily each time we went in there was a different flavour to try. You can get 2 flavours for 2 euros, absolute bargain! I have... More
