One of our favorites in Italy. We were the only ones there until a tour group stopped by with 30 people. On a side street, nice service, great gelato. Don't miss it!

Don't get your Florence gelato from any other business. This the THE best... I should know. I order gelato at least three times per day while on vacation in Italy. Ask what "marries well" to see what flavors taste good together. The prices and portions are very reasonable too.

This place is a is just superb a family run Gelato place where is everything is made fresh daily. No overflowing Gelato tubs which look a few days old, its made on the spot on the day and when they run out they run out no freezer to get a new batch. The flavours vary by season i am told... More

The gelato here is amazing. Hard to pick my favourite flavour but the pistachio would be up there! Don't bother with the others. Just slowly make your way through the different flavours! Good service too.

It was a really hot day when I stopped by Perche No and it was recommended to me from someone who had been in FLorence 30 years ago - so, I had to check it out. I had an amazing Vanilla, sesame seed and honey gelato but I must have looked super hot because they offered me a complimentary cup... More

Over the years, we have dedicated time to try lots of Italian icecreams! We have worked tirelessly to find ice cream heaven! (so far, a little shop in Riva, lake garda, and one in Rome are winning!) We thought that Perche no! was ok, it was alright. Over priced at 5 euro, but there was a lot of it. There... More

Great for vegans and those needing lactose free gelato. Chocolate orange and soia hazelnut were both delicious. Close to the main sights but not swarmed with tourists.

I know that's a huge call but after spending 3 weeks in Italy and eating gelato at every stop and turn we took, gelato at Perché No won hands down. We stumbled across it and liked the fact that it is off the side street and there is not a "vulture" feeling of trying to get tourists in to buy... More

Great gelato and friendly and helpful staff. Big range of flavours and great taste. Not particularly expensive at 4 euro for a 2 scoop cup. Loved it and went back the next day.
