Simply – the best ice cream I have ever had. The pistachio ice cream is grey – which makes sense because the outside of a pistachio is brown and the inside is green – hence grey. The flavours are exceptional – almost unreal. The ice cream is made fresh every day, and it is apparent. This is place is a... More

You will find gelato on just about every corner in Florence however very few make authentic gelato. Perche No is one of the best in Florence. Unlike many gelateria's Perche No is the real deal, all they sell is gelato and it is made fresh every day with no artificial ingredients or preservatives. Very friendly staff and conveniently located. Don't... More

Gelateria Perchè No! is a small gelateria on a tiny side street - close to the touristy and shopping areas in Florence, but tucked away if you're not looking for it. They had a number of flavours - I think I had mango and coconut, and both were delicious. Authentic and homemade. I wish the portion sizes were a bit... More

The panna cotta gelato was the best we had on our trip. It was an excellent experience. Generally you only ever need to order a small or picolo, it is so rich!

Best Gelato in Florence. We kept coming back again, and again. Centrally located and helpful servers. Try it all. Why not?

There are so many places that sell Gelato in Florence, that they all start to look the same. But after trying a few and attending a gelato class on what to look for, this place certainly was one of the best around.

The gelato is the best...it is that simple. Go there you will not be disappointed. The staff is very helpful, and will give you good suggestions of parings. My husband got the pistachio and hazel nut, which is loved. I got the straceatella and coffee ... it was amazing. One street back from the Piazza Della Republica. Find it and... More

This shop is located very slightly off the main tourist path leading from Uffizi Gallery/Palazzo Vecchio to the Duomo area. My partner spotted a small train of people coming out of a side street and investigated.. leading us to Perche No! We regretfully only got a small portion with two relatively light flavours (lemon and yoghurt). We weren't particularly hungry... More

Was in Florence for 3 days. Have always hated pistachio ice cream in England, tried it here and was genuinely blow away, it tastes exactly like the real thing and the texture was creamy and light, with tiny pieces of pistachio in. I had this flavour 3 times and could never bring myself to have a gelato without a scoop... More

Delicious, creamy gelato, some of the best I have ever tasted! Their flavors were fresh and perfectly captured the essence of foods like lavender, lemon, or mint. We came back almost every night we stayed in Florence.
