Remote location on the hills of Florence cannot be found by accident, but is worthwhile visiting. The food is extremely good and service is top notch. Especially the Bistecca Fiorentina with Fiori di Zucchini. Great wine list and Tuscany hill view from the terrace. We have been going there every time we are in Florence. Going there with a dog... A wonderful trattoria, gorgeous view, and a true Italian must visit! Charmingly situated in the hills just outside Florence it is a lovely escape from the city! We organised a large event and the staff were nothing but helpful and went out of their way to make everything work. The food was extremely generous and the staff were so kind,... More

We were 12 people including 6 children . Service was nice and relatively a quick for an Italian trattoria . Food was good but not excellent.

Ask for a balcony/patio table if possible...although the food is just great. Lovely steak and pasta plus a great wine list. One of the most beautiful views of Florence...

Omero was recommended to us by friends and we made a reservation for dinner while we were visiting Florence. The restaurant is in the hills outside of central Florence and it was a nice cab ride and the restaurant had a very nice view back to the city. The meal I ordered (pork chop) was very good - my three... More

Very friendly service but given the calibre of the place the quality of the food was not good enough. The only great dish was pasta. The crackers that came with the bread were also a favourite. The steak was overdone and tasteless. The florentine chicken was also tasteless.

The extra effort to get there is immediately rewarded: bucolic, quiet, verdant terrace with charming view of rustic Tuscan hills - hard to believe it is just outside Florence! Yes, you pay a bit of a premium to eat in this setting (RESERVE AHEAD!). And it is worth every cent. Impeccable service. Top-notch wine list, with many fine locals at... More

When you become aware that the waiter has no interest in being their let alone serving you ,you know things might not go so well.we order from the most basic descriptive menu I've ever seen, ordering simple grilled food.If you can't get this right I ask why bother.the grilled chicken needed a mouthful of water downed at the same time...
