This was a good escape from the city. The restaurant was recommended by my sister in law and we were not disappointed. All 4 courses were nice and one of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence.

Tables are cramped in the small dining room and seats are a torture to sit on, but the worst part is the feeling of being fooled when served good Pasta e Ceci but in the smallest bowl existing and a "selection" of Insaccati (EUR 13) that contained only the cheapest cuts - the next day, in front of the Duomo,... This trattoria was recommended to us by the front desk agent of our hotel which is only a few meters away. We sat outside, at the patio, and the view to the Tuscan hills was more than amazing. The staff was attentive and polite. We ordered a red Bibbiano Montornello Chianti Classico which was just fine. Their shaved prosciutto with small pieces... More

A short taxi ride (E14), but worth the trip to sit outside and enjoy the view of Florence from up on the hill. Flattened chicken was excellent. Few tourists and not expensive. Would go back on my next trip.

I know every experience is different .... But ours was 5 stars all the way !!! What a gem in Florence and definitely our favourite meal of our trip. Both my husband and I loved our meal. The view is spectacular, our waiter Hercules was excellent and helpful and unassuming in a charming way. The food was fantastic but our... More

We have just come back here for our second dinner in a 3 night stay in Florence because this restaurant is wonderful - charming waiters, a beautiful tranquil setting up in the hills and delicious, authentic Florentine food. Attached to the restaurant is a fabulous deli filled with tempting Italian treats. Not to be missed!.

Perhaps this was a bad night and we were a large party of 8. The fried chicken and pigeon tasted like a bad version of Kentucky fried chicken- the grilled chicken was dry. A less than tasty pasta ragu sauce. Nothing tasted good. We did not have a dessert as we were so disappointed with the meal. Service was poor... More

We just returned to Florence after 12 years. The hotel recommended Omera years ago. We found the restaurant again and were so happy to share it this time with our 3 teenage children. We loved the food. The florentine steak was delicious. My son (14) tried the fried rabbit and loved that. We all enjoyed the view at the same... More
