The food is phenomenal, absolutely the best florentine steak we've ever eaten, everything prepared with care, so fresh and thought out. And the service absolutely matched it. Kind, funny and attentive wait staff, extremely well versed in providing excellent Michelin worthy services cannot recommend enough. I went on my birthday and they even did a little candle and played a... More

The service was impeccable from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. We enjoyed the risotto for two which had asparagus and prawns. It was cooked to perfection. We then shared the duck which was grilled. The duck was carved tableside, and it was cooked perfectly with an array of herbs that not only smelled amazing but... More

Let me start off by saying that my review will not do what we experienced justice. We had been recommended the restaurant and after reviewing TripAdvisor, we decided to go. BEST DECISION EVER! From the moment we arrived, we were escorted to the table (TIP: I suggest reservations). Giuseppe was fantastic starting with the Brunello di Moltalcino he recommended for... More

That's a big title to live up to. My wife and I were joined by 2 friends from England while in Florence. We ate lots of good food and had lots of good wine. At Oliviero's on the night we were there, we seemed to be the only English speakers in the restaurant. The staff went out of their way... More

Great romantic spot on a cute little side street near Piazza Sant Triniti. The service was flawless, our waiter knowledgeable, the wine wonderful and the food was excellent and presented beautifully. This restaurant is a bit more posh than the usual trattoria but well worth the little more you may pay. It was a truly enjoyable dining experience. At one... More

My sister and I treated ourselves to 9 glorious days in Florence, Italy last June of 2014. Every where we ate was delectable. We enjoyed Il Parione so much and our waiter Otto that we ate there many nights. We had fresh Pizza near our hotel, NH Porta Rosa and of course another helpful and friendly waiter, Saif. Life was... Small restaurant and family run with friendly attentive staff and the best consistently good food. Would return to Florence just for the roast and lightly smoked duck! Cannot praise it highly enough

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
