Why tinker with the bellissimo traditional Tuscan cusine ?

This was heralded as one of the top Tuscan restaurants in Florence. The setting is in an old florentine building and has been around for almost 30 years. With a wonderful selection of wines to go with the food, great staff, very hospitable and kind, it serves Tuscan food deconstructed in an... read more

We could not fault anything during this perfect meal, the service was attentive and the food quite exceptional. After seeing the same menu in Florence, restaurant after restaurant, this is such a treat without a full departure from local produce and traditions. Moreover the interior of the restaurant is stunning, with original arches and frescoes combined with simple modern comfort... More

Cannot agree with the negative reviews - this was one of the best lunches I have had for some time - everyone enjoyed their food and we snared each dish - the bistecca was to die for. Service was attentive and our waitress explained the history and showed us the roman ruins underground. Fab food, fab service - great place

Food was good. We had the Tuscan 4-course menu at €75 and it was delicious. But not so very much better than a really good authentic Tuscan trattoria that it offset the negatives. Things started well. Nice greeting. Pleasant waitress. Choice of table. Complimentary splash of prosecco and amuses quickly on the table followed after a respectable pause by the... More

Lunch menu is just 16EUR and you can enjoy sophisticated and adequate Italian tasty. The mood is also very nice and elegant, so it can be the best memory for your Itarian experience:) And you have to check beautiful and valuable ceiling too. Strongly recommended!!

I am use to gastronomic restaurant so I can with no doubt tell you about this one. When we arrived in the place we were sure to get the best of a modern gastronomic cuisine of Florence, but soon we got disappointed. Dressing of the plate are simple but with no creativity as the food is. We ate better food... More

Great food overall, love the Tuscan flavours with a modern twist. Only comment is that for the price we are paying in this restaurant would be good to that staff are abit more well versed in English. Would've liked if they explain abit more about the food and friendlier to the customers instead of cold business front.

We left the girls at the Villa Cora courtesy of the babysitting service and arrived by taxi to this remarkable restaurant. The restaurant is in fact housed in a far older building with frescoed and domed ceilings and now embedded a more contemporary structure. We arrived on the early side and were seated in the intimate lower dining room with... More

Went here for my birthday dinner with my family and it did not disappoint. The meal is very very very fancy but it reflects on the amazing building that surrounds you. The food is innovative and interesting. The service is unfussy, verging on friendly. Its definitely an experience for those looking for something unique. The Judges and Notaries guild which... More

Ate here our last night in Florence during Christmas week. It was a very special evening. The room was quiet, beautiful, and romantic, sitting under the vaulted ceiling with frescoes. My husband started with the beef tartar followed by the the roast pork which was tender and moist. I had the Tuscan bean soup followed by lamb with fried artichokes... More
