I am use to gastronomic restaurant so I can with no doubt tell you about this one. When we arrived in the place we were sure to get the best of a modern gastronomic cuisine of Florence, but soon we got disappointed. Dressing of the plate are simple but with no creativity as the food is. We ate... read more

Great food overall, love the Tuscan flavours with a modern twist. Only comment is that for the price we are paying in this restaurant would be good to that staff are abit more well versed in English. Would've liked if they explain abit more about the food and friendlier to the customers instead of cold business front.

We left the girls at the Villa Cora courtesy of the babysitting service and arrived by taxi to this remarkable restaurant. The restaurant is in fact housed in a far older building with frescoed and domed ceilings and now embedded a more contemporary structure. We arrived on the early side and were seated in the intimate lower dining room with... More

Went here for my birthday dinner with my family and it did not disappoint. The meal is very very very fancy but it reflects on the amazing building that surrounds you. The food is innovative and interesting. The service is unfussy, verging on friendly. Its definitely an experience for those looking for something unique. The Judges and Notaries guild which... More

Ate here our last night in Florence during Christmas week. It was a very special evening. The room was quiet, beautiful, and romantic, sitting under the vaulted ceiling with frescoes. My husband started with the beef tartar followed by the the roast pork which was tender and moist. I had the Tuscan bean soup followed by lamb with fried artichokes... More

We went here with clients during the Pitti Uomo fair in Florence. We almost passed it since the outside is not standing out, but once inside there was a very warm welcome by the staff. We had a amazing Tuscany dinner, the waiter gave us excellent recommendations for food and wine. The service is very good, attentive, friendly and professional.... More

Restaurant has a very beautiful atmosphere with the ancient murals. Most importantly the food was delicious with a wonderful combination of flavors. Service was very friendly and very welcoming. Highly recommend this place!

I wrote about Alle Murate a year or so ago, having been for lunch - we raved. Dinner was much grander and vastly more expensive. Ambitious cooking, much of which worked without being mind-blowing. Gorgeous interior, atmosphere a bit serious, good service and, for us, deserving of a 'very good" rating, but no more.

We were so excited to go to this restaurant having heard so many good things about it. Unfortunately it was a very bad experience including the inattentive service and the raw pasta delivered to the table which was inedible. I think the restaurant is really beautiful but if you placed upstairs in the top floor you are really penalized. It is... More

We enjoyed a delicious meal of bronzini served in their candlelite cellar dining room . This room had one wall that was part of the original Roman wall. The wait staff was very peasant and efficient. We were a group of 15 and all enjoyed the food and wine selections.
