Hadn't been in a while, and just had the best meal in months!! The restaurant was crowded and noisy, but the simpathy of the staff and the amazing food are worth it. We shared the pasta with white truffle (20€), seasonal, and it is one the best thing's I've ever eaten. perfect, al dente, smooth flavour... then, filetto for me... More

Our hotel concierge recommended this spot for dinner one night during our honeymoon and it was just what we were looking for. It's not romantic by any means, with its communal tables, frantic energy and bright lights, but the food here was excellent and the unlimited red table wine was a fantastic deal (I think it was 4 euros per... Guests are seated at marble-topped tables for six or eight. The menu features seasonal//local foods which tasted like they were prepared by an Italian grandmother. Most of the customers were locals.Very tasty and moderately priced choice.

Love the Bettola! There's always a crowd here and you need to share a table sometimes, but this only adds to its character. Good food but can be noisy and crowded inside.

We absolutely loved this restaurant... so much that we had to return more than once. As Americans, we of course wanted to do things our way by tasting every dish that we ordered. We had a leg of lamb & artichoke salad - of course with a pasta dish the first meal... but when we saw a group eating the... More

A solid trattoria in Oltrarno. Sit outside, and enjoy the friendly waiters, a good mix of Italians and tourists, very reasonable prices, a welcoming corner location.

This was recommended by lots of locals near our rental apartment in the Oltrano area of Florence far from the maddening tourist crowd. Despite the non-English menu; wait staff were very cordial & bilingual helping us to chose wisely: roasted veal, filet of beef, penne pasta and Vin rosso house @ €4 per person (very good value flavor). Incredible speedy... More

This place is where the locals eat. Great value, speedy service and shared tables! A Tuscan experience not to be missed. Make sure you make reservations as this is a most popular place!

We were recommended this restaurant at our hotel and were not disappointed. The food was really nice, I had risotto as starter and seasoned turkey. My wife has tomato soup and fried rabbit. The soup and risotto were really tasty, a massive clove of garlic in the soup assured it was seasoned well. The turkey could've used a touch less... More
