We were among mostly Italians. The atmosphere was buzzing with the satisfaction of a delicious meal. Pasta was delicious. We had the bettola pasta & a sausage with cream sauce pasta. Tiramisu was delicious. You will need a reservation for sure. Please be advised -- check your bill before paying. We were originally overcharged by about €15. They corrected it... More

We visited this restaurant on Saturday. It was our best meal in Firenze. Classic Tuscan food. The rabbit rolled with salami was superb as was the chicory salad. The meat pasta was also fantastic. Would suggest booking as we arrived at around 9.30 and the place was totally full. They made space for us though. The wine was also amazing... More

without a doubt one of our favorite restaurants in Italy. When you come in you get to share a table with other guests, a nice mixture of love caps and tourists. The housewine is great, and all you can drink for 6 euros. The chef changes the menu every day based on what he finds at the local fresh market.... More

Hadn't been in a while, and just had the best meal in months!! The restaurant was crowded and noisy, but the simpathy of the staff and the amazing food are worth it. We shared the pasta with white truffle (20€), seasonal, and it is one the best thing's I've ever eaten. perfect, al dente, smooth flavour... then, filetto for me... More

Our hotel concierge recommended this spot for dinner one night during our honeymoon and it was just what we were looking for. It's not romantic by any means, with its communal tables, frantic energy and bright lights, but the food here was excellent and the unlimited red table wine was a fantastic deal (I think it was 4 euros per... Guests are seated at marble-topped tables for six or eight. The menu features seasonal//local foods which tasted like they were prepared by an Italian grandmother. Most of the customers were locals.Very tasty and moderately priced choice.

Love the Bettola! There's always a crowd here and you need to share a table sometimes, but this only adds to its character. Good food but can be noisy and crowded inside.

We absolutely loved this restaurant... so much that we had to return more than once. As Americans, we of course wanted to do things our way by tasting every dish that we ordered. We had a leg of lamb & artichoke salad - of course with a pasta dish the first meal... but when we saw a group eating the... More
