Interesting to read the varying reviews. We know the restaurant from friends who came in 2001 and the interior has not changed from then. The key is to call ahead and make sure you order the steak, which is easily one of the best steaks we have ever had. It will come medium rare (more on the rarer side), with... More

I recently had the 'displeasure' of lunching here in Florence and I really wish I hadn't. I have lived here for eight years and have discovered a number of wonderful, very Tuscan trattorias to write home about. This is not one of them. The atmosphere is pretty depressing as someone else noted and there is just an ambiance of 'I... More

This place has a bit of a workers canteen feel about it, and is extremely charming, if you like that kind of thing. The food is high quality and tasty, if pretty simple. The service is brusk, but efficient. It is let down by being quite expensive for what it is - can get excellent meals for this money elsewhere... More

Depressing place with poor service and below average but overpriced food. The waiter displays an attitude of no interest at all for making sure the guest has a good experience. Food is below average, given the speed that it is delivered it is probably microwaved. My "agnello arrosto" was just fat and a bone and arrived within 5 min after... More

We've eaten here a couple of times. As a couple, we sat at a bigger long table with people we didn't know, which was interesting. They were talkative sales clerks from a big New York City department store. Six demanding and difficult to please women that paid the way for their poor male comrade who knew how to speak Italian.... We were recommended this restaurant by local friend. U need to book in advance. When we came it was full. We ordered Florentine steak ( 50€ for kilo) it was really good. Other dishes was also very good. Overall It's a typical florentine kitchen with homely atmosphere

We had diner at Coco Lezzone. Service was unfriendly, they forgot to serve the main course, the main course, roastbeef was served cold, the vegetables(spinach) was cold and tasteless. The speed with which food was served showed that evrything is aimed at high turnover and not at serving customers and delivering a excellent customer service. Unfortunately this will be a... More

I had lunch at this restaurant, since my guide book recommened it. I orderded one pasta and other meat menu. Those dishes came to me very quickly supprisingly. But it was strange, they were not so hot ! And the taste is below the standard. The volume is too small ! The price is not low. For the each very... More
