Stunning food

We came across this gem while looking for a backstreet cafe. We ended up staying on their terrace half the day and into the evening. It's expensive but the food and drink are very good, the interior is charming and the staff are attentive. My spinach flan was the best thing I've tasted in a long... read more

We first ate here in 1992, and the atmosphere was cosy and the food delicious. I've been making their yellow pepper soup ever since. We've been coming back throughout the years, and it is always a peak experience. This time they brought out a tray of appetizers, maybe ten different little tastes, each one extraordinary. The sommellier was very helpful,... More

Got here accidentally, but really liked it. You need to ask the waiter to tell you the menu, but the food is good, so can recommend.

Pompous. The food was average for the price. The service was obsequious. The choices were were odd. There were no straight forward options.

The tomato and bread soup was packed with flavour and possibly the best thing we ate for the entire holiday. The chicken and ricotta meatballs were also extremely good with a stunningly good mashed potato. The staff were on hand to explain everything in a friendly and knowledgable fashion.

From the moment we entered Cibreo to the very moment we left, the warm attentive service was always with us. The service was excellent, the food was very very good and plentiful. The many small dishes that accompanied our meal just added to the experience of our palette's. Certainly deserving of a return.

My spinach flan was average as was my eggplant parmigiana. The veal was the only thing worth writing home about. Saki gave his rabbit 7/10. Service excellent but vastly overpriced. Our bill was a bit of a shock. I am not impressed with the "menu and wine without a price". The cheesecake was above average. I think the restaurant banks... More

Two small incidents will tell you most of what you need to know about Cibreo. When I asked what vegetables I could have as a side dish with my main course I was told that the chef had a nice surprise; it turned out to be a tiny bowl of mixed leaves, which wasn't quite what I wanted! Secondly, when... More

Though expensive... we totally loved the food. there is no menu. the staff of the hotel explain and recommend the menu to you. Being a vegetarian, i loved the antipasti and especially the Greek yoghurt with turmeric was quite an innovation. the pasta was nice and so was the wine recommended by them. the cheesecake was also great. However, the... More

We loved Christina! We loved all the multiple courses! We loved every flavor! We loved the service! So many regional specialties and flavors! Not your pasta/pizza standard fare! Go with lots of time and hunger and thirst! There will be no disappointments!
