Fairly formal and expensive. Interesting technique where the menu was described by a waiter that grabbed a seat and sat with you. We were told that the Trattoria offered essentially the same food a lot less expensive and not as formal.

My wife and I had an amazing experience here. This was our favorite restaurant in the great city of Firenze (Florence). It isn't a white linen type place, but it didn't need to be. We were impressed with every course they brought us. The flans were out of this world and offered something different than any other eatery we visited... More

We decided to eat at the Cibreo restaurant on the suggestion of friends back in Oz It was fantastic, the food was absolutely scrumptious, from the unexpected tasters right through to desert. The service was outstanding with friendly , helpful staff always available to help Would definitely recommend this restaurant to all

Everything was just fantastic. Had dinner twice and it was just the best meals for several years. The owner and staff are very frendly and warm doing everything to make you feel comfortable. The somillier was so good recommending wines - follow her recommendations.

We decided to dedicate our evening dinner in Florence to Cibreo. The restaurant was picked on the strength of the reviews on TripAdvisor, and a recommendation from our hotel (though the individual recommending the restaurant had not eaten there). Based on this, our expectations were high. The venue itself is split in two across a small street - one side... More

To be honest one of the most memorable meals I've had. OK so having a spoken menu can be frustrating but that doesn't detract from the food or the wine. OK so it's not in the most salubrious part of Florence either but then so many fine restaurants aren't either. For me a lovely aged Chianti was a treat and... More

Beautiful furnishing, top level food and perfect service; these are Cibreo's qualities. It's a Florentine classic that always amazes. A must!

Mr. Fabio Picchi has created his very own "gourmet square from heaven" in Florence. A top notch restaurant, an amazing tratoria, a deliciouscafe and a brilliant food + theater. Just go there!
