Classic Tuscan done well...tourist friendly

Another very ordinary exterior, one could almost dismiss the entry as the back door it's so narrow & unprepossing...but created out of adjoining rooms/cellars, this somewhat crowded yet attractive dining environment is better than average to both look at AND (more importantly) eat at! We were in a bar and someone recommended that we go to the restaurant a few doors away. We were booked in at 9.30 but on arrival we had to wait 10 mins we were offered wine whilst we waited but didn't receive it. Our meal arrived and my wild boar ragu tasted awful it was like cat food my... More

The food was quite simply put, excellent. I had the Filet and my wife had the Sicilian prawns in curry. Both were outstanding. The service was also terrific. David, our waiter, was friendly, attentive and knowledgable about the cuisine. Highly recommend.

Just what you would expect for a neighbourhood restaurant. Restaurant consisted of 3 rooms with fairly closely positioned. The rooms were plain with a fw prints so was quite atmospheric. The waiter was charming and efficient and the food was excellent.

Very busy and popular with locals and tourists. Big selection except all fish choices were prawns so i had lamb. Small chops but tasty. Really nice atmoshere. Not sure but it seemed like rooms were organized by language which meant many english speakers around for eavesdropping pleasure and interaction. Would recommend and easy to find. Just cross ponte vecchio from... More

historic place, where you can see locals eating, not only tourists, homemade food such as creamy cheakpeas with pasta, fried rabbit and just harvest rasperries as dessert, besides an excellent tiramisu.

A wide ranging menu and a large busy restaurant but they produced high quality food quickly with charm. Excellent beef carpaccio, home made tortellini and local diced pork with chickpeas. Good organic house red, perhaps the best tiramisu I've had for ages. Recommended; €40 per person approx.

The food was lovely, but the price was too high. We were four people, who ordered four staters, and four main courses and sodavand - no vine and no dessert , still we must pay 200 euro..😳. But the staff was sweet😊....

Rated top restaurant by trip advisor this a must visit place. The food was divine, the service charming, witty and friendly. Uncooked, fresh artichoke salad was very delicate and tender. Tortellini in home made consomé thr bedt I've had in a long time. The grilled tuna chunks on thinly sliced fennel good, but not great.

We had a great dinner with a very fun waiter. The Tagliatelle della Casa was amazing. The only critique I have is that I don't agree with the Trip Advisor rating of only one € sign for price. It's not super expensive, but it's not cheap. We paid about €170 for 1.5L of house wine, two starters, 4 pastas, and... More
