Best Italian Restaurant We Ever Visited

That is for us, pardon the pun "a mouthful" given I am an Italian-American who has been eating at them all my life. Here a non-Italian prince has managed to out Italian the Italians who I believe are the best cooks in on the planet. It was my second visit, and while unlike the first, service... read more

My husband and I visited this restaurant after walking by and then reading the reviews. The service was wonderful! We spent 2 of our 4 dinners there and both visits were equally great. We had amazing pasta with the most fresh mozzarella. Great wine recommendations. Complimentary Prosecco, appetizers and limoncello. Must visit.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and kindly translated the menu for us as they didn't have any English version available. The food was the best we have experienced so far on our trip, and this place should be a must visit for any Florence traveller.

This restaurant was exactly what I was expecting to find in Florence. It was perfect, from the friendly service to the amazingly delicious food. I only wish I found it sooner during my visit to Florence. Slightly off the beaten path but worthy of the few extra blocks.

Alessandro owns the restaurant and is the chef. His son Lorenzo is the waiter and the two make for a winning combination. They are charming and down to earth, but more importantly, the best meal I've had in Florence. Off the beaten track, but worth the visit - not touristy at all. You will not be disappointed!!!

Just around the corner from Hotel Rapallo. Great little restaurant away from the tourist crowds. Lovely home cooked good with friendly personal service. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful meal, off the beaten track we found this place strolling the streets of Florence! Wonderful pre starter, and great Pasta and dessert, for a very reasonable price! Highly recommended!

We arrived in Florence jet lagged and tired but rather than resting indulged in our first meal here. Although my wife was literally falling asleep in the middle of a sentence, she revived when the perfectly baked fish and the mint risotto arrived. This simple dinner was delightful in every way; the waiter was charming, the sauce subtle and buttery,... More

Tucked away on a little side street off the Via Nazionale, this restaurant boasts excellent food, service, atmosphere and cost. I like places that offer specials of the day as one has to assume that they feature the freshest ingredients and are also the chef's favourites. (Perhaps I might be a bit naive here!) Anyway, we were warmly welcomed with... More
