Yum!

Got food here on our last night in Florence. Small space, self-service. Food was good! My husband had the Thief Politician (their bestseller) and it was good! You can smell the truffle across the room. I had the southern student. It was also good but I liked the Thief Politician better.

I was told me meet a couple of locals at La Prosciutteria for a quick drink. We snagged the best table right outside and enjoyed vino, birra and an affettati misti...and of course great conversation and people watching.

Came here based on the tripadvisor reviews and it was all great as anticipated. If this place was a real restaurant, the experience would have been more comfortable. My son had a sandwich with ham and cheese, so fresh and tasty but too much salt on the bread! I think Italians generally cook with a lot of salt! I wish... More

Despite limited seating, this non restaurant has some of the best charcuterie boards in Florence. You can either order a small board or large one at a really well priced. House wine was cheap and amazing! Don't miss out on their sandwiches. Really friendly staff!

We had "vino de la casa" and a plate of prosciutto, salami and cheese with olives, dried tomatoes ect. - everythig was excelent ( even sweet cheese spread which I normally hate). It was a very nice night in Firenze!

I decided to go here with my wife based upon the reviews on tripadvisor and boy did this place not disappoint! Its a very small place that from my understanding is not a restaurant per say more of a shop that lets you sit down and eat their produce! It was explained they don't have a license to serve food... Seriously tasty sandwiches available from this butcher-cum-restaurant. The truffel plus prosciutto plus tallegio combo was remarkable.

Came across this place by accident, for lunch we had an amazing round Foccacia with Proscuitto, aubergine and some lovely creamy/cheesy sauce. Great price, 4.50E I think. We sat inside and loved the surroundings. Glass of wine was cheap too but stuck with the soft drink as very a roasting hot day. Other people had platters which looked amazing! Would... More

Bumped into this place after disappointed with the massive queue for nearby famous sandwich bar. Ordered a platter which was larger than we expected. Together with house red, it's a lovely light lunch with no hassle of queuing! Worth a visit.
