This was a very quaint little deli style shop. The meats and cheese were very tasty and the servings were quite large. The shop was very cramped and was very hot!

We were well looked after here. The house wine was smooth and absolutely lovely with the long board of fantastic meats and cheeses we had. Very much value for money with and warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Very nice authentic place, very tasty meat products! All the meat from La prosciutteria comes from animals hunted by the owner.

Okay, so there are a lot of reviews on the "other" best sandwich in Florence (down the street) and let me just say I visited both and La Prosciutteria is by far the BEST! Great atmosphere, great sandwich, which was complemented by a glass of chianti classico. As for sandwich, I asked the person taking my order to make a... More

When you see the locals not giving in to the tourist popularity and continuing to eat at a place besides the crowds you know there is something special. It is a unique atmosphere as it is primarily self service in a sit down environment (you set the table yourself, pour the water/wine yourself). They state that this is to avoid... More

A great lunch spot. Very friendly service, excellent sandwiches and platters and a very good selection of wines all at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is very enjoyable. Wanted to go twice in two days but they were so packed on the second day that we couldn't even get in the door! Very funky.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Great range of charcuterie and cheeses for reasonable prices. No table service (which we didn't mind). Knowing the most amazing sandwich store is a few steps down the road, I won't come back for lunch but would definitely consider coming back for dinner and drinks.
