Tipycal florentine "Vineria". Is a tipycal old shop owned by a family of winemaker from Chianti Area that sell their products: wine oil and special gourmet food, especially prosciutto toscano crude ham salami finocchiona and a very special selection of "Pecorino" sheep cheese. You can take away or eat inside on old wooden table and also drink wine by glass from 1,5 euro, cost for a special and tasty sandwich with "porchetta" roasted pork is 3,5 euro, tasting menu start from 8 euro. Informal atmosphere in a very romantic original old fashioned place ideal also for a break for a glass of genuine wonderful wine or for aperitif, Open from 11am to 11 pm.

Perfect ending to our first night in Florence

Delicious platter of cured hams and cheeses, and sufficient to feed my hungry family of 5. the bread could have been better and served with mustard or other flavor enhancers. We sat in the back room, eclectic decorations (caged Barbie dolls, odd photos, etc).

I like everything here: the meat, the cheese, the bread, music, decoration,... The staffs are super cute despite their busy work. Will definitely come back here for more food xD #musttry

On a recently trip we found this gem! We happened to walk by La Prosciutteria and noticed every single person had a focaccia style sandwich in their hands. We knew we had to get one! The line was long but moved quickly. We were slightly confused on what the order being as they didn't have a menu (don't be fooled... More

We ordered a mixed platter with meats and cheese. We ordered for three and it was plenty for four! The variety was nice with about 5 types of meats and cheese but the ratios were perhaps leaning heavily towards the meats. There were also several sliced breads with different cheese toppings that were tasty, along with some marinated veggies. The... More

On a recent trip to Florence we came across La Prosciutteria, it was a really quirky place with lots of odd things on the walls. We ordered a sharing platter and the food was fantastic, we had lots of meats, cheeses and breads and watered it down with a chilled glass of white wine. It was a real delight and... More

Had a lunch platter really tasty so happy to encourage people to go. The ham and meat is so yummy. The only let down was the seating I got cramp!

Interesting interior design in a great location in central Florence, only a few minutes walk from Uffizi. Prices are affordable but the food quality is really great. For just 4,5€ I had a decent sized focaccia with delicious prosciutto and cheese with olive paste. That will really keep you full during your long day of exploring Florence. Unlike other places... Such a fantastic place. We went for dinner and were lucky to get a table as it's very popular with locals and travelers alike. We got a huge meat and cheese platter for 20 euros. Great selection of meats, cheese and bruschetta. Loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff made it a wonderful experience.
