"Vi mostriamo come si fa" è il nostro slogan. Gelateria artigianale di lunga tradizione, produciamo giornalmente nel nostro laboratorio a vista un gelato di qualità, anche senza glutine. Il gelato alla frutta è privo di lattosio e derivati del latte, preparato prevalentemente con frutta fresca di stagione. Ogni gusto è studiato nei minimi particolari. E poi.....Frappè, frullati, semifreddi.....e tanto altro. Cono o coppetta? Specialità: Crema antica, Catrame (cioccolato fondente), cacio e pere, ricotta, caprino, pistacchio, nocciola e tanto altro!

Best gelato!

We sampled many gelato spots on our recent trip to Italy. This was one of the best. A little tough to locate but definitely worth searching for.

After trying many gelato places in Milan, Parma, and Venice this ranks at the top. Basic flavors that are done to perfection. The chocolate is incredibly rich, the pear was amazing and so is the buonatella.

Off the beacon track and south of the river close to the Brancacci Chapel. Look hard or you'll miss it tucked away on the side of the square. Flavours out of this world and pipped the antica by a whisker . Must visit if you want the best gelato ever

We had gelato in cities throughout northern Italy. La Sorbettiera was the best of all! It merited a visit every night we spent in Florence.

We had lots of gelato in Florence, but this neighborhood gelateria beat them all! I always order straticietella (Spelling? Chocolate chip!), and the one from La Sorbettiera had a delicious vanilla base with plentiful dark chocolate shavings, beating out the down town gelaterias that-- while looking impressive and highly decorative--didn't have the flavor and the amount of chocolate shavings as... A small place off the beaten path. A few outdoor seats in the shade and a park across the street. Best gelato I have had. Still thinking about the lemon and sage!

The price is fab, the gelato is insanely good. Every flavour was a winner (we went practically every night while in Firenze). We did try another gelato bar once, and it cost us 13 euro and it was no where near as good as La Sorbettiera. This gelato bar is a little off the tourist trail so if you are... More

I had the chocolate - which was absolutely delicious. Intense and dark not sweet and milky. Really grown up chocolate. John had lemon and sage ; strange combination but he loved it!

I spent 3 weeks in Florence and went there everyday to get the Cookies flavor. Wahoo I love it!! The owner of the shop is so kind and so sweet to me. His gelato is so creamy and light and just delicious. Nothing I have ever tried before. It's not anything like the crap you get near the duomo. So... More
