Good icecream - hard to find

Small icecream place off the main street. Very good icecream - can highly recommend the salted caramel and the lemon with sage.

Honestly, we ate so much gelato during our two-week trip throughout Italy that I could not begin to rank each place in any meaningful way. However, I can say that the lemon-sage flavour here stands out in my mind as one of the most delicious and unique ones that I sampled during our trip. I found a lot of the... More

This quaint, small place is in a very residential neighbourhood. The fifteen minute walk is well worth it as everything from the cone to the intensity to the texture is superb. The best flavours at this artisan were the salted caramel, dark chocolate and lemon-sage. Very local and very good.

The best! We tried 3 other places in Florence all highly ranked but this one was recommend by a local who really likes gelato and they were right! Soo much better than the other places. Worth walking to and good price, not like the tourist prices.

This little place doesn't attract much attention, but it should. The gelato is amazing, and there are lots of unique flavors. Like lemon sage...or rosemary pear...traditional ones too. I've eaten gelato all over Europe, but this one is the best!

A little out of the way place (but not too far at all from the Ponte Veccio) is this wonderful shop with truly great gelato. Had the stracchiatella vanilla, and chocolate between the tree of us. Absolutely delicious.

This is quite off the beaten track but well worth it. Surrounded by locals eating the gelati so a good sign. I had hazelnut (to die for) and strawberry. My husband had lemon. Fab fab fab - choose from 3 sizes and from tub to cone.

We sampled many gelato spots on our recent trip to Italy. This was one of the best. A little tough to locate but definitely worth searching for.

After trying many gelato places in Milan, Parma, and Venice this ranks at the top. Basic flavors that are done to perfection. The chocolate is incredibly rich, the pear was amazing and so is the buonatella.

Off the beacon track and south of the river close to the Brancacci Chapel. Look hard or you'll miss it tucked away on the side of the square. Flavours out of this world and pipped the antica by a whisker . Must visit if you want the best gelato ever
