This was hands down the best gelato we had while travelling throughout Italy the month of September and the best I have had anywhere. The best value too, at 1.60 for two good scoops. I guess when you open in 1934 and are still operating, you can be confident they are doing it right.

Really tasty Ice Cream and amazing milkshakes too! We stayed south of the river and this place was recommended by our hostess. Very friendly staff and I promise you that the taste won't disappoint. Reassuring that some flavours are not available as fresh ingredients are not always available. Shows a commitment to quality.

This place does nice gelato and is popular with locals. I wouldn't go out of my way to seek this place out, but pop over if you're staying nearby.

If 10 years ago - anywhere you would eat in Italy, would be amazing...now 90% of places are tourist traps. Especially if you're anywhere near the a landmark. I have once paid 30 euro for a couple of ice creams and a coffee...so to find a place where 2 scoops are 1.60....and has no english descriptions, as well as a... More

Small gelateria, frequented by locals and tourists. Very good ice cream with unusual flavours available.

We were on a mission to find Salted Caramel gelato after hearing about it. After looking in vain in a lot of shops, finally found this Trip Advisor site. Do yourself a favour and walk outside of the main tourist area of Florence. It's about 10 minutes walk past Santo Spirito. The Salted Caramel in a waffle cone - yummmmmm!

This gelateria is a 5-10 minute walk from the Palazzo Pitti and Santo Spirito but worth it (think of it as burning off some of the calories from the ice-cream!). The piazza it's on was buzzing with locals chatting and kids playing football late afternoon, but don't let the atmosphere distract you or you'll miss the gelateria which is just... More
