Arrived at 3.30pm and was told at this time only a plain pizza was available but was big enough for three! It was a nice pizza but not worth ?24 and any drink was ?5!!! There was an italian couple at the next table, I'd like to know if they were charged the same!? Avoid. Don't understand why has it... More

This family run restaurant was fantastic! Wish we had found it earlier in our trip to Florence. First visit to the restaurant, we had the chef recommended Tuscan bread salad. It was delicious! It was great to taste some local recipes. The kids had the homemade lasagna and loved it. Second visit, we tried the pizza and mixed green salad... More

This restaurant situated in Via delle Terme is certainly worth visiting. The suggestions made by the owners can be followed eyes closed. We had a marvellous lunch : lasagna, beef carpaccio and tuscany salade ; the coffee sorbet is great to finish the meal. Excellent price quality ratio. Also important : lavatories very clean !!!

Mama and son run this operation (but mostly mama) with a freezer and a microwave oven. The place has an open kitchen, so the secrets are easily seen. Tourist rip-off, as the menu has nothing they actually have. Off menu items like pizza are pushed - with rip-off prices presented later. Do not go.

Ate here every day for lunch on a three day trip to Florence and it never disappointed. Simple and delicious home cooked food in a quiet corner of Florence close to the Ponte Vecchio. We ate delicious focaccia, meatballs with zucchini flowers, lasagne, and the BEST pizza and were looked after by really kind hosts who were great company. Will... More

We just needed to stop off the beaten path; we stumbled onto this quaint restaurant and were greeted with smiles, warmth and great food, especially the minestrone, chicken pate, and chocolate cake! We enjoyed every minute of our time at Capaccino! This is not the regular fare that you would expect. The prosciutto is the thicker, saltier Tuscan style which... More

Went here with my wife on our first night and had an amazing meal served to us by the sweet and friendly husband and wife team who own and run this restaurant. The interior was small but inviting, and the menu changed daily depending on what was in season and the ingredients available. The homemade pasta and entrees were great,... More

We spent a couple of days in Florence and Capaccino was one of the best place to eat. Ask the owner for something really "local", if you're lucky you could find some "lampredotto" (tripe), and in the right period "ribollitta", strong flavor but really really tasty. Extremely fast and the owner is a really nice person. Pay attention, no toilet!
