We stumbled on this lovely little cafe at lunch. We ate outside and had an excellent lunch. Freshly made pizza with lots of fresh basil and mozarella. The service was lovely as weRe the owners. Hope to revisit one day On another trip to Firenze! Thank you!

It very often happens that one comes across such little precious gems like this one without particularly looking for them, let alone expecting them. Hidden behind a corner of a small street between the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, here you can find a small cosy terrace with several tables and super friendly staff who kindly welcomes you and explains the... Having visited this gem in the past, we returned today to find the same delightful couple still turning out incredible truly homemade---to order---delightful food and vino. If you miss this place you may be pulled in by the traditional tourist places...don't let that happen as we have found none better. Thanks Gianni and Francesca and keep 'makin it happen!

My wife, my children and me found this place walking around Ponte Vecchio. We've been attracted by the lovely windows at first. Once inside been recommended for having Ribbollita & Peposo. My children had Lasagnas. Been worth the trouble! We've been lucky finding this warm little place!

Came across this small restaurant by chance and were made very welcome by the owner chef and his wife. We chose the regional speciality called "Ribollita", a vegetarian stew made with cabbage, carrots, beans, onion and bread, delicious. The lasagne was tasty, the Apple fritters and struddle were good as was the bottle of wine and the dessert wine. Recommend... More

Lovely. Perhaps the most apt word to describe the restaurant. The food was lovely. The people were lovely. The place itself was lovely. Even the bread was lovely. I stumbled on this restaurant during lunchtime for a quick bite. A bite that turned out to be what I believe is the best food in Florence. The food is homecooked, fresh,... More

Lasagna was fantastic and the owners were very friendly and welcoming to us tourists who stayed in Florence for 2 nights. Definitely a cozy place for a family lunch, and conveniently within walking distance of the Uffizi gallery. Although the place is slightly small and the menu is a little limited, all the dishes and ingredients are prepared on a... More

Went for lunch. Lasagna served cold and very average in taste. Pasta of the day, spaghetti with frozen shrimp and a completely tasteless pasta. Salad very average. We have been here for 6 weeks and there are about a thousand better places in Florence.

We found out about this restaurant by pure chance. The service, the house wine and the food was great. I totally recommend for lunch time, espeacially after a long walk through the city for you can rest a little bit and enjoy good wine.
