Hidden Gem Sandwich/Panini shop in Florence

This little gem of a sandwich shop, is hidden behind San Lorenzo market. My wife and I ate here twice for lunch on a four day visit, because it was so delicious. You get a choice of three options to include on your sandwich/panini. The first visit, I got mozzarella, pesto, and tomato on it. They... read more

This is a great place to get a quick sandwich at a very reasonable price. It is clean, quick and has tasty food. Five of us ate there for 18 Euro (including 3 bottles of water). It's hidden behind the leather stalls that line the road but take the time to look for it, you won't be disappointed.

We sought out this place based on reviews and it was the first meal we had in Florence. The bread was fresh, the mozarella was divine with the prosciutto. Great place to grab a quick snack.

We stop here after a long morning of walking around. These focaccia sandwiches hit the spot! I had a prosciutto Pomodoro and mozzarella sandwich. The wife of a prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich. we grab a Coke zero and a medium beer for grand total of €11.50.

We had either lunch or late breakfast here everyday because the food was cheap, filling and absolutely delicious.

We popped in for a bit of something to eat after wandering around the markets! Very quiet (could do with some music) but anywhere I can get a glass of fantastic Chianti and 2 slices of pizza for €4 is a winner in my book!!!

I used to go to this spot 10 years ago as a student. Came back on a trip and it's as good as I remember. Reasonably priced and delicious. I recommend the pesto e patate!

We are delighted with the taste. Much better than a pizza. The staff is very helpful. Price is reasonable. Would go there again.

This little pizzeria is near the Duomo, and in the centre of the market stalls, just off the Via Nazionale. They serve delicious handmade pizza by the slice, with more than I could eat for about €2 or €2.50, depending on the toppings. So if you've a huge appetite it might cost €5!. They also serve beer , coffees and... More

This place is great. Choose your filling and the focaccia is made for you on the spot. Tables are tightly packed and shared. The food is not expensive and neither is the wine. It is tempting to have more than one round! My favourites are pesto and mozzarella and melenzane and mozzarella though you can choose from a huge range. As... More
