Felt like home

I visited Il Santo Graal on my first and only night in Florence. I had just walked by it on my way to my air bnb, and based on the Michelin rated sign decided to stop in (what can I say, I'm a chef so Michelin signs just do it for me). I was not disappointed. I was able to... read more

Really friendly, helpful and unpretentious staff. We dined here after the Firenze marathon and it was a fabulous way to celebrate the day. The food was exciting, the wine great and the setting relaxed. A really memorable meal-best of our time in Italy!

We had a lovely evening here. The young lady serving us was very charming, spoke perfect English and described the dishes and wines clearly and with humour. We opted for the 4-course tasting menu (40 euros). The experience would have been much better with a glass of recommended wine with each tasting dish. Instead we had to buy a bottle... More

We went for the menu essenzialle and had a fun, tasty and memorable experience. Great food by passionate and imaginative chefs in a fun setting. 2 of 5 dishes were not my cup of tea but as it's an experimental menu that's par for the course. My husband loved all 5! Great value. great selection of music too. We were... More

Don't get me wrong, the food here wasn't bad, it just wasn't worth the total bill of 90EUROS. I had a lot better food at a lot nicer places for less money. I've eaten in Michelin star restaurants before and I've never been disappointed or gone home hungry. But this left me with both feelings. Yes the dishes are a... More

I booked Santo Graal in advance for a Saturday evening dinning. We arrived at 7:30pm and were impressed with the style of the restaurant. As it had just opened we were the only ones there but it quickly became busy. i opted for the 6 course tasting menu for 45 euro while my partner ordered from the al a carte... More

Every dish is pleasing to the eye as well as the palate. Incredible flavors! Beautifully presented. We decided on the prix fixe options and it was a great way to experience all of the dishes.

One of the best meals of my life. Incredible attention to detail and food inspired by art - a mix of Tuscan tradition with cutting edge technique and whimsy. Great and friendly service and eye-popping presentation and flavours. The poached egg yolk 'gnocchi' and the charcoal black risotto were especially memorable.

I had the pleasure to eat at il Santo Graal a few nights ago and it was one of the best meals I've ever had -- Italy or elsewhere. The staff is fantastic, patient, engaging and clearly cares about their food. We had 2 six course plates and added a few additional items. Each dish was modern, unique and delicious... More
