I visited this wine bar three days in a row, on a three day trip to Florence. It was that good! It was recommended to me by my Italian Renaissance professor, so I knew it was going to be wonderful. The staff is beyond friendly, and make the experience delightful. I was told that their Brunello is the best in... More

This little place is located in the Piazza del Rossi, near the Ponte Vecchio. The little bar inside feels homely rather than touristy. A great range of wines and delicious bar snacks. The crostone with porcini white truffle and speck with honey was simple but delicious.

I insist you try this little gem should you be in Florence for more than 2 days! You should go for aperitif, sit at the bar if you can or outside, and enjoy a nice plate of Italian or French cheese with a nice glass of wine. The wine list is very interesting and the cheese plates are exactly what... More

A little bar by the Ponte Vecchia, where you will get great advise about the many wines they stock and can sample by the glass. Snacks are also available, with a good selection of cheeses and ham. A nice lunch time stop off.

We stopped here after an afternoon at the Boboli Gardens. Great place to try a variety of good wines. We had a selection of Italian cheeses that were wonderful. It is situated in a small piazza- so there was very little traffic. Nice local feel- not touristy. The service was good. Great place to relax at the end of a... More

This wine bar is a great place to stop while exploring the Oltarno area of Firenze. It's just a few steps from the Ponte Vecchio and has pleasant outdoor seating. The salads and antipasti are fresh and quickly served. I had smoked trout and found it very good (a difficult find in Firenze). Great find - remember it's around the... More

Not on a main thoroughfare, but not too far off either..adding extra charm to a Very Good little wine bar with a Very Good selection of very good wines...you're getting my drift. If you're walking from the Ponte Vecchio to the Pitti Palace, Piazza del Rossi is just up a little lane to your left kinda tucked around the corner... More

We stumbled across this place, walking around the Oltrarno the day we arrived in Italy. What a sweet find! A quiet and calm place to settle in with an fun Italian neighborhood feel, sitting outdoors on a little square. The crowd was quite international, the service friendly and attentive and we really enjoyed our light meal there! We wanted to... More

Recommended this by a 'Florence Hot Spot' handout and was not disappointed. Simple Tomato, Mozarella, Basil and Zolive Okl salad with a quite sumptuous glass of Pinot Grigot was a wonderful lunchtime snack. Service was speedy and very friendly. Restaurant was quiet, especially for a Sunday. Definitely put in your 'to visit on Firenze' list. MM

Was on a walking day to explore the west bank of Florence when i found this little place. They have a lot of wine variety and they offer great light food. It is just a little off the main street so you're not in the traffic of pedestrians and cars. Servers are friendly and food delicious for a faire prince.... More
