Tried a covaccino with some friends after reading some suggestions on TripAdvisor. Sandwiches were good and tasty. Food is not pre cooked and everything is served fresh. Good idea for a take away lunch while wandering around Ponte Vecchio and surroundings. Probably a must for a lunch with typical Tuscan delicatessen while visiting Florence.

Purchased two lovely sandwiches on the way to piazza Michelangelo. The food was good and honest. I would decode omens it. Looks a little dirty inside and the seating is only for 4 but other than that a great simple place for lunch.

I was here last January. It is a locla hotspot for focaccia and piazza al taglio. Despite the location near Ponte Vecchio is not touristic and you mix with many fiorentini having their quick lunch here. Unpretentious and very tiny place. Best pizza al Taglio ever.

We stopped in here on the spur of the moment as we needed a quick snack. What a great little place. We both selected different pizzas which were warmed up in the oven. They were moist and really tasty. The service was friendly. What a nice surprise it was. Well done guys.

Great little place not far from ponte vecchi. We tried a couple slices of pizza and then went back in to get a panini for takeaway. Definitely worth a visit for great pizza and beer.

Just stopped for a sandwich while wandering around the Ponte Vecchio and it was a great choice. The pizzas looked great too.

The pizza was amazing, I had a thick spinach and mozzarella and my brother prosciutto, both of them were amazing, with a nice cold beer in that hot weather. The staff was amazing even though they didn't speak a lot of English, which enhances the experience. I would definitely recommend this place.

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
