Nice vegan restaurant, great desserts

Though this does not match in any way the gourmet vegan restaurants that are found in New York City, it was quite good for what we find in many locations. Quality of food was good especially the vegan cheese burger was great. However compare to what we paid for, everything were very small potion and didn't really made us full. Maybe better for lunch not for dinner. The staff wasn't really friendly. Overall it was ok but we wouldn't come back again.

Food was ok but the price for a self service place is to expensive. There is no menu in English and there is no waiter to help you ,so use your smartphone to translate .

My partner and i went 3 times while we were in Florence. All of the meals we had were amazing. The ingredients were fresh and tasted so good. The price was cheap and the serving sizes were large and filling. The menu is written in Italian however staff were very nice and spoke English and will be able to explain... More

We had simple and simply delicious dinner at this casual, cozy vegan trattoria a block from our B&B north of the city center, with a friendly and fluent English-speaking staff. The handmade gnocchi were as good as any I've eaten (including the vegan parmiggiano), as were the sauteed vegetables and (try to find this at the average Florentine establishment) falafel... More

We traveled an hour from our hotel and finally found this place on a quiet street. We walked in at 235pm and we sternly told that they close at 3pm and that we would have to carry out the food and that we could not eat in the restaurant. This pissed me off and I am quite an agreeable and... More

We specifically went to Dolce Vegan because we are vegan. The woman working at the counter was unwelcoming. We ordered the gnocchi, lasagna, and salad. The servings were small. The food was edible, but I've tasted much better vegan food at even non-vegan restaurants. We were hoping that dessert would make up for it. But sadly, after standing at the... More

Good hearty vegan cheeseburger. Delicious organic German beer. Side of brown rice and sautéed veggies oh and the best tiramisu and soy chocolate cheesecake. Least expensive meal we had but the best. Friendly woman begin counter. English menu and is self service which suits us fine. If I ever return to florence which I hope I do definitely coming back.... More

We went to this restaurant with very high expectations. The place is nice, and the staff is friendly and polite. The problem is the food ... As I said, we had high expectations based on some positive reviews and also on the fact that Dolce Vegan has been open for a quite long time and it seems that it is... More

Where is this restaurant? I went to an indicated address (Via San Gallo 92) and couldn't find it! I admit that I didn't ask what the R ("rosso"?) suffix means, but I think the location should be described more clearly!
