Healthy light meals! Detoxing from traditional Italian food!

If you are looking for a super healthy light meal, vegan and or raw vegan, this is your place!!! It's a great place to go when you want to detox from all that pizza and pasta. I went there several times and I must say that the portions are medium, do not expect the big feast unless you order... read more

We were so impressed with the cuisine at La Dolce Vegan - we ended up eating three meals there during our stay. It is not fancy - you order on paper, submit your order and pick it up from the counter - but the food quality is outstanding. We loved everything we tried, including the desserts. This was the best... More

We went to Dolce Vegan after a long day of travelling and sightseeing and what a great choice. We are disciplined Sikhs so don't eat meat, fish, eggs, gelatin etc. or in a place that serves or makes these things ( in case of contamination) and it was perfect. Varied menu with lovely vegan cake to follow for dessert. The... More

I love this wee place. A gem in he heart of Florence. They serve great vegan food with some raw and super healthy options. They make the most amazing vegan cakes, including cheeseckes, panna cotta and tiramisu'. They seitan ragu is fantastic!

Not sure I understand the negativity in some of the reviews. This was exactly what you would expect for a small vegan restaurant, similar to ones we have visited in Portland, OR, San Francisco, and Detroit. Except it is Italian! And in Tuscany! My wife and I both opted for the seitan lasagna, and it was excellent. The vegan ricotta... More

Though this does not match in any way the gourmet vegan restaurants that are found in New York City, it was quite good for what we find in many locations. The menu has a variety of burgers (something the gourmet vegan restaurants do not focus on so much) and some pasta dishes. I did enjoy the whole wheat pasta with... More

Quality of food was good especially the vegan cheese burger was great. However compare to what we paid for, everything were very small potion and didn't really made us full. Maybe better for lunch not for dinner. The staff wasn't really friendly. Overall it was ok but we wouldn't come back again.

Food was ok but the price for a self service place is to expensive. There is no menu in English and there is no waiter to help you ,so use your smartphone to translate .

My partner and i went 3 times while we were in Florence. All of the meals we had were amazing. The ingredients were fresh and tasted so good. The price was cheap and the serving sizes were large and filling. The menu is written in Italian however staff were very nice and spoke English and will be able to explain... More

We had simple and simply delicious dinner at this casual, cozy vegan trattoria a block from our B&B north of the city center, with a friendly and fluent English-speaking staff. The handmade gnocchi were as good as any I've eaten (including the vegan parmiggiano), as were the sauteed vegetables and (try to find this at the average Florentine establishment) falafel... More
