Hot chocolate was disappointingly thin and ordinary compared to the write-up in the Rough Guide which suggested something special. But maybe blame the Rough Guide rather than the cafe!

I had lunch there today with a friend after buying museum tickets. Its a convenient location near Accademia and The David. We sat outside and it was a lovely day. The service was excellent. The food was very good. I had a caprese salad that was fresh and delicious. Then I had a potato stuffed ravioli with mushroom gravy and... More

After a full day of walking, shopping, and eating a large lunch, we wanted something simple, easy, casual and close walk. Our concierge suggested Robiglio on Via di Medici behind the Savoy. It was a small lovely restaurant. The tables were set along one wall with banquette seating. My sister and I shared a salad, and each ordered soup. I... More

Stopped in after a long morning of sightseeing. Sat outside for two hours enjoying a bottle of proseco and snacks. Great people watching and the bill was 18 euros. Yes, 18, for a bottle and snacks- in Florence.

Nice location near the historic center. We sit outside for relax and drink coffee. You can enjoy anything hot coffees but no cold - shakerato is the espresso coffee with ice and is not like Frape.

A lovely setting, down a side street away from the hoards of tourists. The service was fantastic throughout the meal - we asked the waiter if we could taste the wine and he gave us some large tasting samples - which is always nice. The food arrived in good time and was cooked perfectly. We had such a lovely time... More

Our hotel used this restaurant for our breakfasts and we really enjoyed the pastries and coffee. So we decided to go to the restaurant for dinner. What a great meal. Everything was excellent. We enjoyed our waiter, Emanuel.

This was our best find in Florence. A lovely location in a side street, with enough people watching to make sitting with a drink fun, but not too busy. They have wonderful cakes and biscuits to go with coffee, but also beers and wine, and then we noticed a full restaurant around the corner, so returned there in the evening... More

It is easy to stroll from the Palazzo Strozzi before or after an Exhibition and sit outside watch the world pass by and enjoy a salad or delicious pasta with a glass of wine. Very little English spoken but nice staff. the Restaurant was buzzing at lunchtime so we didn't sample a more expensive meal. the pastries are mouthwatering and... More
