This place has alot of history, an old fashion pasticceria. Loved the tea room. Great pasteries and Italian Ice cream.

We didn't visit the restaurant, but popped into the shop for a sandwich and coffee. Very nice baguettes for €3.80 and nice coffees for €1.50. We'd expect to pay twice as much for coffee in a prime location such as this. You could sit inside or outside to eat them at no extra charge. We liked it so much that... More

The sweets are perfect. The coffee excellent. But this is the most that you can get. No panini. Just enjoy your sweets there!

We visited this restaurant on our third trip to Italy. We loved the fresh thinly sliced grilled vegetables as an antipasto and fresh cherry tomato sauce over pasta during our previous visits. Can't say these were out of season as we had fresh vegetables in other restaurants in Florence. Did not experience this on our third visit. I was so... More

We had breakfast at Robiglio two times in Florence. Good, fresh cornetti and excellent espresso in a typical bustling cafe atmosphere.

Had lunch here after walking around centre of Florence. Best pizza ever. Service friendly and not too pricey. Very popular. Sat outside in a little side street away from the hordes of tourists.

While on our tour, we stopped here for a quick sandwich and snack. Freshly made, excellent sandwiches (ask for condiments) and coffee, reasonable pricing. The also has excellent biscotti for sale. Also had table service, but this was a quick lunch during a private tours, and was excellent.

We visited this establishment one morning hoping for good coffee and fresh pastries to fuel a day of sightseeing in Florence. Unfortunately the coffee was tepid, the pastries were stale and service non existent! Bill for 4 croissants and 2 Latte's came to just over €16 (including a cover charge).

Found this bar by accident after climbing Giottos' Bell Tower. We had two lasagne, mixed salad and two desserts with a bottle of water, a bottle of Prosecco (20€)and two coffees to finish. With a 10% service charge it cost 70€. The lasagna tasted good, desserts OK, overall a pleasant meal with good service and good air conditioning !!! Got... More

This traditional Italian cafe has a great atmosphere and really helpful staff. We had quiche, a sandwich, tea and coffee and the food was good and good value. I would definitely return. Great for a a quick coffee during a busy day sightseeing or shopping or for a longer lunch. Many local people obviously go here on a daily basis.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
