Second favorite gelato on our ice cream tour through Italy. A little more crowded (than our favorite) but worth the wait. Counter staff very friendly and patient. Try the coconut!

I spend a lot of time in Florence and I have a handful of favourites and Gelateria dei Neri is certainly one of them. This is THE place to go for fabulous gelato. There are many flavours, fresh and delicious. I LOVE the fondente and caramello, and the chocolate orange...and the strawberry sorbet...and the cannoli... The parlour is clean, warm... More

This place was recommended by one of the guidebooks I was reading. Being in Italy, the land of gelato, has definitely spiked my standard for its national treasure. I found the gelato at this place to be mediocre and nothing outstanding. I’d save the real estate in your stomach for something better.

One of the best gelato places in Florence. Freshly made every day, creamy and delicious flavors! Reasonably priced and not far from Santa Croce and the Arno river. I have a huge sweet tooth and must say, Gelateria dei Neri was one of my favorites. I made sure to bring all of my friends and family here to try their... More

Open until 3 a.m., this spot offers some of the best gelato in Italy. One night I left a bag and a book. The next morning I stopped by in a panic, and the management cheerfully produced my lost belongings. Such very nice people, service, and gelato!

I am not kidding when I say this was the best gelato I had in all of Italy (and I spent time in Venice, Florence, and Rome)! Once I found Gelateria de Neri, I went at least once per day to get my gelato fill! And I will say after leaving Florence I was sadly disappointed with all the gelato... More

This is a great place for deserts, not only ice creams. The ice creams were very good but no extraordinary flavours. The other deserts were special and cheap. We had the cream brûlée, tiramisu, profiteroles, chocolate mousse and another cream fresh which were all amazing!! We licked our fingers.

Great selection of gelato and all kinds of other cakes/pastries. We had pistachio and carmello gelato. Portions were large and reasonably priced. Many sizes to choose from - for 3.5 euros we each got a huge scoop plus piled into our cups. Staff are friendly and fast, Delicious!

It is a good ice cream yes, the crepe is also good. But if you're a fan of ice creams you are not going to be delighted or astonished by it.
