A fantastic place on a hot and sunny day for a couple of glasses of wine and maybe some antipasti. Whether other guests had a larger wine and foodtasting or a simple orders as ours all where greeted with a large smile from the hostess. We only came for a glass of wine on a rainy day, but still were... More

I went here as part of a food tour on Florence. They have a big selection of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, confectionary and wine. They also sell some wine gadgets which are really cool. If you like wine, visit this place. Not sure if they do wine testing for walk ins but if so, they have some good Italian wines!

Taking refuge from a sudden shower we browsed quite happily here. When we needed assistance on the subject of balsamic vinegar, the gracious Antonella gave generously of her vast store of knowledge on the theory and practice, correcting us politely on our misunderstandings about age and taking time to educate rather on the importance of choices of wood for adding... We found Enoteca Alessi our first night in Florence and it became the spot to relax after a busy day. Antoinella made great wine suggestions and provided great service. She's kind, full of energy and very interesting. Although she claims to only know a little English, she was able to provide great advice and entertaining conversation, We were so impressed... More

This wonderful little wine bar is connected to an amazing wine/liquor shop, and market. The staff was very hospitable, and I had a fantastic sampling of great Italian wines. I also had some of the best cheeses I've ever had. The also have meat platters and what looks like some extremely fine balsamico. I didn't have room for more. If... More

Just wandering about looking for a lunchtime glass of wine, stumbled across Enoteca Alessi. What a find, we went back three times in the space of 30 hours. Beautiful surroundings, lovely lady ( forgot to ask her name ) looking after us. A quiet haven just around the corner from Duomo . Amazing selection of wines and spirits , also... More

Probably the best wine shop in the center of Florence, with a great choice not only of wines and spirits but also cookies, candies, tea, coffee and chocolate. The owner is an expert and you can always rely on him if you have a question. Also the japanese woman sommelier is a real connoisseur and knows very well the wine... More

We went there last year and I'm only writing this review until now because I just recommended it to someone. It was THE best food pairing we've had. We had 3 diff wine tastings and we just asked Alessi for her recommendation of small tapas-like food since we weren't that hungry. Alessi was very knowledgeable and gave us a comprehensive... More

An enoteca is basically a wine bar that has snacks, and sometimes a full menu. We had traveled all day and wanted more of a snack instead of a full late lunch. This was the perfect place. Wines were great, which I would have expected. More importantly, the 'snacks' were delicious - sliced meats and cheeses from the region, and... More

We loved this place…wine, large appetizer platter to share. Had a great 'vibe'. On a side street in Florence….great service!
