This wonderful little wine bar is connected to an amazing wine/liquor shop, and market. The staff was very hospitable, and I had a fantastic sampling of great Italian wines. I also had some of the best cheeses I've ever had. The also have meat platters and what looks like some extremely fine balsamico. I didn't have room for more. If... More

Just wandering about looking for a lunchtime glass of wine, stumbled across Enoteca Alessi. What a find, we went back three times in the space of 30 hours. Beautiful surroundings, lovely lady ( forgot to ask her name ) looking after us. A quiet haven just around the corner from Duomo . Amazing selection of wines and spirits , also... More

Probably the best wine shop in the center of Florence, with a great choice not only of wines and spirits but also cookies, candies, tea, coffee and chocolate. The owner is an expert and you can always rely on him if you have a question. Also the japanese woman sommelier is a real connoisseur and knows very well the wine... More

We went there last year and I'm only writing this review until now because I just recommended it to someone. It was THE best food pairing we've had. We had 3 diff wine tastings and we just asked Alessi for her recommendation of small tapas-like food since we weren't that hungry. Alessi was very knowledgeable and gave us a comprehensive... More

An enoteca is basically a wine bar that has snacks, and sometimes a full menu. We had traveled all day and wanted more of a snack instead of a full late lunch. This was the perfect place. Wines were great, which I would have expected. More importantly, the 'snacks' were delicious - sliced meats and cheeses from the region, and... More

We loved this place…wine, large appetizer platter to share. Had a great 'vibe'. On a side street in Florence….great service!

Great way to cap off a day of museum sightseeing. Fantastic place to go to. Friendly staff and the wine tasting for 15 euros is the best deal in Florence.

This was our first stop after arriving in Florence. Great quality wines, Italian cheeses and salami's. Staff member - Antonella was friendly, helpful & welcoming. Go for a drink and have a look at the wine cellar below. Amazing!

A great little wine shop on Via delle Oche, just one block from the Duomo. Both the vino rosso and the vino bianco tastings were excellent at 15 euro. The bread dipped in olive oil, cheese and olives that came with the wine tasting were excellent. Our server also cut some various varieties of Picorino cheese that we could try,... More
