Great place with cozy interior. The food is great, the service is very nice and new treats keep coming to the table "on the house".

This was a nice find on my last day in Florence. Good food, nicely served, great desert, would definitely look it up again if I'll revisit Florence.

Some of the best Tuscan food in Florence. Great Osso Bucco. Black truffles in summer. Super staff. Creative dishes...pasta, meat, etc. Nice complimentory touches like pre-appetizer and limocella with biscotti. Good prices and nice portions...not too big. Only two blocks from the Gold Bridge. Always go here every trip. Not to be missed.

We had dinner here twice on a recent trip to Florence and really enjoyed it both times. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious - antipasti, pasta, gnocchi, lamb, fish, tiramisu, bavarois, pannacotta. There is a full gluten-free menu (approved by the Italian Coeliac Society) with an amazing range of choice (including great vegetarian options) and almost all the desserts were... More

We were greeted by a free sparkling wine on the house and a soup appetizer qhich is always appreciated! Food was well prepared with mixed sauce with bread, pasta, gnocci and a dish of chicken. It's a nice place for a calm dinner away from busy streets

12 euro lunch menu includes primo, secondi, water I had penne with arrabbiata sauce - excellent - and trippa alla fiorentina with potatoes - stunningly tender and delicious. Wife had pasta with pesto - delicious - and turkey stew - good if you are a stew person which she is not really but the flavors were delish! Panna cotta for... More

The service was good, atmosphere romantic and food brilliant! My partner and I are vegetarians, so opted for the meat-free options and it was amazing! I am sorry I do not have the italian names of the dishes but a MUST try is the eggplant, cheese and tomato appetiser and the vegetable souffle, although sounds simple the texture and combination... My husband and I decided to eat here because I have Celiac and the reviews seem to show that this is a good place to go for gluten free food. It definitely did not disappoint! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating! They even had a special gf bread basket that I enjoyed very much. I got wonderful dish with... More

This restaurant specializes in gluten fee. If you have a gluten free member in your group, don't look any further. Service is slow but food is very good.lamb was grrreat. Gluten free pasta was very good. Wild boar had too much sweet sauce for my taste. Desert of the house (3 in 1) with nice presentation was good.

Florence is usually one of my least favorite cities for dining in Italy but Il Desco was certainly an exception to the rule. The food was amazing. The pasta was fresh and my gluten-free friend was able to enjoy the same types of food as myself for a change. The service was impeccable, friendly and prompt. The decor was lovely... More
