We had lunch twice at this locals favorite. It came highly recommended by our hotel and they were right. All the dishes we had were delicious. Tiny and crowded, but since it was full of locals both times, we knew we were in the right place. Because of it's size and popularity, it might be a good idea to reserve... More

I was visiting my daughter in Florence and we found this little restaurant reviewed online. My daughter has celiac disease, so we're always on the lookout for good gluten-free food. Her ravioli and bread were very good. My food was also very tasty. The gluten-free desserts were off the charts. She had these little dough balls (almost funnel-cake like in... More

I am glad we followed the reviewers' advice. Looking for a place close to our hotel NH Hotel Porta Rosa because it was raining so i found this place and read the reviews and took a short walk there. Food was very good and very very reasonably priced. They had a special - one starter and one first course fro... More

This little gem was hidden in an alley between ponte vecchio and Uffizi. I got a full gluten free menu (same size as the regular one). I was so excited... Got my own Gf bread basket (with 4 kind of bread!!!!), the homemade gf pasta was just perfect, and wine was very good. My hubby and I also shared a... More

We were lucky to stumble on this terrific restaurant located close to the Ponte Vecchio. The food was excellent with friendly servers willing to suggest wine and meal combinations. The atmosphere was intimate in a space that stretched back from the street with several areas of seating creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The bruschetta was fresh and delicious, the pappardelle... More

One of the few restaurants in Florence that caters for gluten free eaters we had a delicious meal of pasta and a great sauce. Even a bit of fresh gluten free bread just baked. Lunch from the daily specials was inexpensive. This is where the locals eat so that speaks for itself. Not easy to find but well worth the... More

This hidden spot is a true gem in Florence- where almost everywhere you can get amazing food! Very special little place; small and cozy inside- warm colors, friendly staff, and fantastic food, of course. This place was recommended by our amazing hoteliers at Hotel Alessandra (great place, perfect location, huge rooms) and was spot on. Both of our meals were... More

Found this hidden spot while walking back to our hotel (Westin Excelsior). The concierge made reservations for us but at 7:30pm on a Monday night it wasn't really necessary. But we had a nice corner table reserved. A sparkling wine was presented to us along with the menues. A couple of other tastes were also delivered by the chef. Delicious... More

Our hotel made this recommendation, and it was well worth it. The hostesses had a decent command of English, lucky for us! and it was a help with the menu. We had cuttlefish in ink sauce, and a wild boar ragu along with some excellent pasta dishes at extremely reasonable prices. A surprisingly good stop in a hidden alley. Make... More

A great find in a back street, this was a very authentic Tuscan restaurant. A glass of fizz to start always helps and the excellent evening went on from there. A good menu with all the local dishes you'd expect and a very good wine list. An intimate dining area and good service make this a highly recommendable establishment
