This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. The menu is creative, delicious and served with flair. We ate there two night running it was so good with the manager promising us the chef would do something special for us should we go back, so we did. He created a beautiful starter with pasta, cheese and... More

My wife and I have popped into the caffe florian on two separate occasions - one time for tea and another time for a cocktail (We've never tried the restaurant). Both were great experiences. It's a posh environment so the drinks are a bit more on the pricier side, however, the service and creativity make up for it. The barista... More

That is my first review at Tripadvisor but I felt I need to do it as the experience deserved it. I was on a business trip and had an evening on my own (how wonderful!) and was wondering where to eat. During the day I passed the Florian, and wondered whether it would be worthwhile to go to what is... More

We were walking around Florence and saw the window display at Florians, which was unique so we decided to go in and have a look around, we were fascinated by the artwork and displays and we looked at the menu decided to stay for lunch and coffee. We were not disappointed the customer service is excellent, we were given a... More

We had afternoon tea at Florian. Small but good selection. All the customers were seated in the entry zone which is not very nice but which makes it easier for the waiters. Ambiance was frosty. We later discovered that Florian actually is . Much bigger with many nice places.

This was our second visit to the Caffe Florian in The Piazzo San Marco. The first time it was just to sample the coffee. The second time was to enjoy the coffee, sample the delicious pastries on offer, enjoy the live music from the small orchestra, and take in the ambience of the Caffe Florian. We were not disappointed. Caffe... More

We walked passed this restaurant a few times and decided to eat here. The waiter gets 5* he was friendly and interesting. Our mixed starter was ok. Not something I would order again. Some tuna (not fresh) and others. Great presentation and glad we had something we wouldn't normally order. The risotto unfortunately wasn't nice. It was bland and boring.... More

I came across Florian in Florence quite by accident as I had no idea they were here in Florence! Being a lover of Venetian food, and of Florian in Venice, I decided to stop in for lunch and was so glad I did! I was tempted by the 10 euro business lunch, but decided I just had to have a... More

We found this fantastic gem just walking around one evening! First evening we had the best drinks in my entire life. We went back four times the following evenings. We were amazed every evening by the way the drinks were made and the fantastic taste! Wow, we were blown away!!

Originating in Venice, the Florian is a great place to grab a nice cappuccino and pastry and catch up with your friends. They also have a nice apperativo that contains seafood. It really gives you an authentic feel of the italian culture with its appearace, and staff. Overall, a classy and elegant place!
