While vacationing with NYer friends in Florence, we tried this highly-rated and charming restaurant that is also an art gallery near the Arno. We expected "good" or even "great," but we didn't anticipate "delightful." The chef uses traditional local ingredients but the food is not at all typical. It's inventive, refreshing and gorgeous - in taste and appearance. The portions... More

The restaurant is incredible I am addicted, the walls are full of art that is provoking, and the food is imaginative and presented also as a work of art. The offering is detailed and fresh best of kind . The staff are highly professional. The value at lunch is superb There is nothing more to say just don't miss it.

This was a quiet cool refuge from the hot crowded streets of Florence. The food was excellent and the style and presentation was more refined and gourmet than the cuisina tipica everyone else wanted to sell. Really enjoyed the meal and the service was tremendous even though we were American tourists eating too early and splitting plates.

What a gem of a bar. We were lucky to stumble across this cafe bar on a Sunday evening. The cocktails were delicious. Fantastic service and attention to detail. Gorgeous little cafe next to the main restaurant. Very pretty decor and relaxed atmosphere.

We were very fortunate to have stumbled into Caffe Florian one lazy Sunday evening. We had a heavy lunch and we were looking to have a light dinner. It was one of a few establishments open that day and instead of take-out we ended up eating-in. The place was lovely and reminded me of Angelina's in Paris. They have a... More

After walking all over Florence seeing churches and shopping we happened to find Florian and walked in for a very late afternoon lunch. The staff was attentive and happy to accommodate us. We chose some delicious sandwiches of chicken, salmon and asked for a prosciutto & cheese one as well. Let me say that the restaurant space is beautiful and... More
