Excellent dining outside of the Tourist District

Small restaurant is on the south side of the Arno, 10 minutes west of Ponte Vecchio. In a area that actual Italians live in! Stylish modern decor, clean and well maintained. Food was delicious and well presented, perhaps the best we had in our 4 days in Florence.

The service from start to finish was top notch. The a la carte menu and tasting menu options are superb catering for a wide variety of palettes. The dishes brought the best of the region through challenging traditional presentation and textures and delivering exceptional flavour when considering the cost. For wine plus 5 courses it was around 65 euros a... More

Everything was wonderful from start to finish. My family of 5 opted for the tasting menu (highly recommended) and they were able to accommodate both gluten-free and vegetarian preferences without any fuss. Exceptional service and while there are many highlights, I would definitely not skip dessert (even if you are full). I had the white chocolate with lavender and of... More

We went here for our last meal in Italy, and it was a great choice. The wine list was very nice, and we had a delicious cabernet franc. We got a couple dishes to share (including the ravioli) and it was all fresh and flavorful. For dessert I had the craft beer ice cream and I recommend it highly. The... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. We visited after reading a good write-up in a guidebook. The food was great. I started with the guinea fowl ravioli and my partner had the poached egg with chestnut cream. Both were excellent. Then the veal and the duck for mains. Again both excellent. We shared the lavender slush for dessert - which was... More

The tasting menu is a wonderful dining experience of carefully crated, creative takes on Tuscan cooking. The small dining room creates an intimate, relaxed dining experience awat from the tourist crowds of Florence.

I have eaten here four times over the last 18 months (last week, most recently). The food is consistently excellent, best ingredients, creatively prepared, and presented with calm and friendly service in a modern setting. In the four course tasting menu, their version of "vitello tonnato" was a perfect piece of veal crusted with squid ink breadcrumbs - so good,... More

This was a restaurant we discovered via TrpAdvisor and an experience that we thoroughly enjoyed The restaurant is located away from the main area for eating but not too far out of the way . The decor was simple and very chic and theyprobably had the best toilet I have found away from the hotels in Italy. I would recommend... More

This restaurant is, quite simply, superb. The food is not the usual Italian fare but interesting and more than a match for the best London and New York restaurants.

Very pleasant small restaurant with a big chance to get a Michelin star soon. All dishes are creative and tasteful. Wine list is worse to be mentioned. And the service is 5 out of 5.
