A charming, quirky atmosphere with charming wait staff and some of the best food ever. If you order the bisteca, it is enough for more than two hungry diners. The appetizers were photo-worthy and tasted every bit as wonderful. Do make a reservation.

We had a lovely last night in Florence and spent it eating very nice food and wine at the La Cucina Del Garga.this place has a nice feel to it. Off the normal walking paths around the city. You pay more, but surely get good food and service in return. Would highly recommend this charming restaurant.

This is one awesome place . The food tastes great. We had ordered pasta and salad. They start with giving you a complimentary glass of prosseco (local white wine) which is fabulous. The service was good and the owner herself was present taking rounds and asking everyone if everything is ok. The decor is very nice and artistic. Liked the... More

The staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. Waitstaff was helpful with menu and wine selections. Owner/chef was friendly and fun. Do not miss the Brunello di Montacino ('09) the calamari, beef tenderloin & fresh pastas. Was able to reserve a table the day of and enjoyed the unhurried pace of a typical Italian dinner w/lots of wine... More

After not listening well to the directions from the hotel concierge we finally found the restaurant that was actually quite near!! The long trip was totally worth it. The restaurant is medium in size - highly recommend a reservation. Complementary glass of Proseco started a marvelous evening. A nice basket of bread. We have been disappointed throughout most of Italy... More

Another recommended restaurant from our hotel. Visited on a busy Monday. Service initially very good - welcoming complimentary prosecco, bread and a tasty tomato focaccia. Ordered the calamari after reading previous reviews, and yes it is as good as they say. Also ordered the biffstecca to have between us. This took ages to come, but was good. We had now... More

Out of the beaten path but worth the short walk from the market. Greeted with the on the house glass of Prosecco and a funky yet inviting assortment of art on the wall. The art theme continues at the tables where they give you washable crayons to use on the crisp linen tablecloths. Top notch food ... attentive service ...... More

After getting a bit lost we found this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The staff were really attentive although not too much so. We enjoyed a complementary glass of prosecco and a homemade bread with tomato sauce. The rest of the food was to die for and I honestly had trouble moving at the end (thank goodness our hotel...
