Calm and attentive

This is a restaurant inside the Athenaeum Hotel in a quieter area away from the main attractions. It is clean and smart and we were one of only two couples there early. The menu is limited, and this can be a good sign, as there is more attention to detail. The staff were clean, well presented and... read more

I was very pleased with the food and service at the restaurant. Don't be fooled by the bland façade, the place looks much better inside! Service was exceptional and the price, rather adequate. Not too expensive like some people claim it to be!

I enjoy much their Tagliatta di Manzo, and Vino Montepulciano. Friday, they have fish dishes and very fresh! Don't miss that!

I went for dinner with my husband on recommendation of the hotel we were staying in. It's a little out of the way of all the hustle and bustle of the town, which I found quite refreshing. The waiters were really kind and friendly (not like the sulky waitresses we had the night before at Zaza) and the food was... More

Yesterday was our last night in Florence, so we chose riflessi after being recommended by our hosstess. Nice garden, charming fountain and friendly staff. We order an appetizer, zucchini flower, wich was tasty. I went for grilled vegetables, which were dull. My husband ordered cod wich was dreadful. Not only its taste and smell was awful ( our first mistake... More

We ate here for 1 night and had the restaurant to ourselves as there were no other diners. This meant we got personal service from a very experienced, charming and warm waiter, Pietro. The Riflessi is part of a hotel and is tucked away off the street in a pretty courtyard. It is out of the centre but was near... More

We spent a week in italy;- Florence, Venice and Sicily. We had great food pretty much everywhere we are, but the Riflessi is something else. The food is amazing, I eat out a lot and this is the best I've had, would definately recommend you try the linguine and the lamb. As if that wasn't enough, we were blown away... More

My girlfriend and I ate here earlier tonight actually. We were tired from traveling all day and were looking for a place close to where we are staying, and came upon this place through a google search. After reading a few good review we decided to try it. The place was not busy at all and we walked right in.... More

The hotel this is in was a fine hotel, but the restaurant and the wait staff made our stay amazing. From wine recommendations too night life, to just conversation and good times, this place is top notch. Made some really great memories here, you will not be disappointed!

Our stay in Florence was far-too brief, and you should explore all your options when it comes to food in Italy, however, on our night of arrival, being too tired to search for dinner we stayed at the hotel restaurant and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Being American we ate our dinner fairly early - 7:30pm - and... More
