Our last dinner in Italy was one of our best. Warm welcome, Very good suggestions from our waiter, Food felt like a delightful mix of traditional Florentine / Tuscan, with new, creative ideas. Crostini with pâté, local salumi, ravioli di mortadella, ravioli stuffed with lampredotto, pasta cooked like risotta with a sort of ragù, tagliata (amazing). Wine paired perfectly with... More

Firstly I want to say that due to an illness I have a lot of allergies, but even after listing these the staff were amazing and the food was some of the best I ate in Florence. The Steak here is incredible. It may seem like it's a distance from the main square, but you can't find this authentic Tuscan... More

We were recommended by clients that visit Florence often. Tre Soldi is a such an amazing family owned restaurant, it's an easy 10-15min cab right outside of the city. But don't worry because they'll call a taxi for you once you're done. They all were so accommodating, the owner was running around that he nearly fell down the steps to... More

Tucked away not far from downtown, this family owned restaurant will repay your patience in finding it. Both the creative menu and well partnered wine list will set the right tone for a great experience. Suggestions from the waiter are valuable and not just pointing to the most expensive items, the ambience is elegant yet understated, the food will elicit... More

Do NOT be fooled....by the entrance you are walking into a temple of gastonomy. The ambience is simple but the food is outstanding.

Tastes at Tre Soldi are authentically Florentine and daringly bold. If you are a foodie, you'll love it here! Each dish is lovingly made and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a casual yet refined elegance with dishes that satisfy both eye and palate. Try the ravioli stuffed with arianciata (orange) and a delicate walnut sauce. Or the amazingly flavourful tagliata... More

I am rarely so enthusiastic about a place; the quality and taste of the food is excellent, the service very good, the owner attentive and well in his role with a touch of kindness and lots of professionally. Gnocchetti funghi e castagne, bistecca fiorentina di chianina IGP, tagliatelle castagne e funghi, scottatina di manzo marinato... everything was worth it. And... More

Good restaurant, not too dear. The chef/owner came out to advise us - which is always nice. Following the advice of other reviewers I went for the tagliata tre soldi and it is indeed a cut of beef, pan-fried and then cut into strips with some kind of salty, malted lard sprinkled on top. Bloody delicious. On the chef's advice,... More

Small family restaurant, since 1954, runned by father and son. Vast selection of typical Florentine dishes from antipasti till the dolce. Situated in the outskirts of Florence, Tre Soldi offers excellent local food with respect to the seasons in combination with an excellent friendly and honest service.
