Great veggie filled island in a sea of pasta

Stoked that we found this place. In a sea of pasta, Brac was a delightful island filled with fresh veggies and creative cuisine. I know I came to Italy to eat traditional Italian food and we have done a lot of that over the past week. It was all great, but I was ready for something that had a... read more

My partner and I ate here on the basis of a recommendation from a salesperson in a department store when I mentioned I was vegetarian. Goes to show sometimes random works out well. We both had really tasty and healthy meals, wine and water for 35 euro. I had the veggie lasagna and beans and potato salad, yum! Staff are... More

We came here after a Happy Cow recommendation and were absolutely delighted with the food. It's hidden down a side street in a bookshop and you are surrounded by inspiring books and decorations. We had a lunch special of three dishes, from a choice of over 20, including salad, pasta and sicilian flatbread. All were absolutely delicious and made from... More

Brac was hands down one of our favorite places- lots of character, great staff and a wonderful selection of gourmet vegetarian entrees. Portions are plentiful and your taste buds will hum the second you take your first bite. We highly recommend asking for their ‘piatto unico’ which is not only a steal but offers three different tasting options. Seating is... More

Visited on June 28 for the third time. We had 4 different meals and all were excellent. The vegetarian dinners were full of flavor and the price with drinks averaged ca. 16€ a good value. Be sure to call for reservations because they are always full.

Although we are not vegetarians, we greatly enjoy vegetarian food and were delighted that this little restaurant was just round the corner from where we were staying. It is essential to book as there are comparatively few tables and clearly it is extremely popular. The surroundings and atmosphere are original and delightful and fellow diners clearly took advantage of the... More

My daughter and I went to Brac with a vegetarian friend of hers; I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of options available. No "salad bar" this; there were plenty of pasta dishes and breads (and salads of course)--I couldn't begin to finish my 3-course "piatto unico"! And the atmosphere is delightful and romantic (though the romance was wasted on... More

A library and restaurant at the same time... but I didn't took the time to look so much at the books as I was having an amazing foodie experience. I took the piatto unico which includes 3 small meals from the menu. My choices were perfect, you have to try the ginger ravioli and pear carpaccio. :) Service was kind... More

We came here after struggling to find any vegetarian food that wasn't a mushroom pizza in Florence and both were very impressed! We had the piatta unico- where you can choose a salad, main and filled flatbread for €12. The portions are massive, I have a massive appetite and couldn't finish mine! Lovely atmosphere too. It's not the easiest to... More
