The waiter welcomed us as we arrived and was extremely attentive. The owner, Claudio, was equally as conscientious and recommended the house red wine which was light and smooth and very good value at only 12 Euros a bottle. The smoked tuna is a delight and a good sized portion for a starter. The fresh sea fish cooked in salt... More

We had dinner there. It was nice but nothing special. The food was tasty but the combination of it was boring. All in all a nice evening aside other tourists. I think i would not probably come back.

For the last evening of my visit, we decided to eat in the Bistro del Mare. We had no reservation, but we enjoyed a war welcome and a nice table. Service was very good, with mouth-watering description of the various meals. It was a very nice stay, we had a very nice evening with a great and unobtrusive, yet attentive... More

It was 3 of us for a birthday. We chose the 6 appetizer formula to share with our drink. Then we had a pasta with seafood, a sole with veggies and a seafood mix grill with egglants on a layer on coarse salt. All was good. No dessert but owner brought over a nice small chocolate plate with a candle.... More

We decided to eat here based on a suggestive review by the blogger Girl in Florence. We did not have reservations, but we had come very close to the hour which they open and were welcomed with much hospitality. The wine suggested by the waitstaff was wonderful. The meal and service were stupendous. If you go, be sure to try... More

My husband and I came here on a recommendation from a server at another restaurant, and it did not disappoint. We went on a Tuesday night, which is a slow night for most places in Italy. We almost had the whole restaurant to ourselves, which was awesome, but strange, considering it is such a great place. I had the fish... More

An attentive owner and well versed staff make this restaurant a joy to visit. They serve a set menu at 52 euros each which allows you to try dishes and share with your friends. Went into the kitchen and met the chefs too.

When one gets tired of all the meat , this is the place to go . If one is not tired of all the meat , this is the place to go . We had sea bass in salt all over Europe and truly it was one of the top. The fish was a good size for an individual serving... More

My wife found this restaurant through Tripadvisor. It was the best seafood restaurant we visited during 2 weeks in Italy. The Bistro is located within Palazzo Gianfigliazzi-Bonaparte, which in 1828 was purchased by Luigi Buornaparte i.e. Louis Napoleon Bonaparte, who was Napoleon's brother, King of Holland and father of Napoleon III. We had a quite good sole on our first... More

Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
