Visited this restaurant twice in 3 days. First time was at the the recommendation of my B&B host. It was just around the corner, so on my first day of arrival this was convenient. Be prepared to be treated with a great welcome! The food is fresh and just like eating at home. Not a culinary nirvana, but for some... More

This is a very good restaurant with great food -- not spectacular but tasty, fresh and well prepared; my wife had insalate de mare, which was quite good, and my pasta dish was terrific. Great place, with fast and attentive service.

Due to the recommendations of the trip advisor and even our receptionist, I didn’t eat the whole day in anticipation of this highly recommended famous place “da tito”. And what a disappointment it was, the first sign was the general “Meat and potatoes” menu designed for the mass tourists with no seasonal or chef specific touch, this was followed by... More

A bustling lively restaurant serving delicious simple food. Great value too, the portions are generous to say the least (huge appetisers... soooo much meat). The staff are really fun and create a really jovial atmosphere. Would be a great place to go with a large group and have the craic while enjoying a super meal.

Da Tito is plain awesome. If you're looking for a restaurant where you want to eat great food but you don't feel like putting on your jacket and tie (or even if you do) this is the place to go. The atmosphere is really - and I mean really - relaxed and easy-going, the waiters are superb, like natural comedians... More

Florence was the last leg of our Italian adventure and we had many great meals, but our meal here was the best experience. We went at a fairly busy hour with the restaurant being packed but only had to wait maybe at most 10 minutes. We ordered the steak Florentine with potatoes and it was amazing, especially served with a... More

Positioned in a quiet part of the city you are unlikely to come across this place by chance. You must book otherwise prepare to be disappointed. Everything works , service , food , wine . The place is run by a group of guys/waiters who clearly all get on and they work together as if by telepathy. It's a fun... More

First dinner in Florence. The house wine was quite good for the value. Ordered the bruschetta and Caprese salad for antipasti--both were okay but there was just way too much arugula for our liking. The risotto with asparagus was nothing special. The highlight was the Osso Buco which was very flavourful. The complimentary limoncello was orangey in flavour.
