Good honest locally prepared and well presented food. We booked for dinner but this may bot always be necessary out of the main season. The food was excellent and the waiters choices of wines was first class. Good selection on the menu while the daily specials were well explained. We would happily eat here again when in Florence.

We had amazing pasta. We had a nice area to ourselves to talk and eat good bread and olive oil on our bread as well as delicious 'spicy spaghetti' which was excellent and perfect. Not much to say except I'd definitely recommended it. Recommended to us by a couple of locals.

We went here as part of our group tour. The wine was delicious, the starter of meats and cheese tasty, lovely pasta, tiramisu delicious and great, friendly service. The restaurant is like a cave! Great atmosphere. It's close to karaoke also.

Fantastic restaurant! I've eaten here many times and really believe that everyone who visits Florence should stop by this place. Delicous food, delectable wine and lovely service! My favourite dishes, and must-trys are the pasta with green beans and pesto, the Florentine Steak, the tomato bruschetta, any pizza, the cheesecake and tiramissu and practicaly anything else on the menu. On our first night in Florence we sought out this restaurant, after being given a list of several recommendations by friends who are familiar with the city. The ambiance was warm and authentic. The service was quick, and the waiter very friendly and helpful. I had the roasted rabbit and wild fennel served with roasted potatoes, my husband had the... More

Bases on TA reviews, I booked this restaurant for New Year's Eve. When we arrived in Florence, I asked the driver and the desk attendant about the restaurant, and they both had never heard of it. Fingers crossed as we headed off to dinner - I wanted it to be a specially memorable one for our family as it was the... More

We had passed this restaurant on a bike tour and were so pleased when we stumbled across it again as it looked so inviting. We sat inside and the decor was lovely - the kind of place where you feel happy spending an evening. We ordered a range of dishes to share including a pork dish, pizza and salad all... More

Our party of nine turned up at this restaurant without a booking and were welcomed warmly. The waiter was very friendly and the food was delicious. His English was considerably better than our Italian! The children had pizza which went down a treat and the adults enjoyed great big platters of antipasti (the Palma ham was amazing) followed by a... More

We live in Florence a few months every year. This was the first time we tried Francesco Vini....and are we glad we did! We ate there a couple of times this week, grilled vegetables, pasta, grilled steak, and the BEST pizza in Florence. But beyond the fabulous food, was the service. Paolo and Stefano were fantastic. We were treated like... More
