We had two pizzas, the buffalo was great, the caprese was okay. The pici with pesto was very good. There was a special that others seemed to love. We almost ordered it and after wish we had. Very affordable.

Best pizza I've ever put in my mouth! The atmosphere is relaxing and the owners are extremely hospitable. I give Francesco Vini 10 stars for a fabulous experience! a great view of the beautiful streets of Florence as well.

We had a really lovely dinner here. Delicious home-made pasta and perfectly-cooked meat, accompanied by beautiful (and reasonably priced) wine, recommended by our very attentive and helpful waiter. For larger groups (or those with big appetites) they had some fabulous-looking cuts of beef in the window. Definitely recommend to anyone.

We were staying in an apartment right across the street from Francesco Vini and decided to give it a try since it was so close. Everything was so good there (atmosphere, food, wait staff, owners) that we ate there three more times during our short stay in Florence! We thoroughly enjoyed coming to know the owners as friends!

We had such great service here, we returned for a second meal. We ate outside both times. The waiter out front was great with helping us select wines to go with our food. The food itself was a little hit or miss, but mostly a hit. I found the risotto a bit bland, but the bacalao (baccala in Italian?) salad... More

A true gem in Florence. The food is fresh and the onsite sommelier can assist with wine matching. The vibe and service is second to none. So much nicer than the normal tourist eateries. I suggest the buffalo mozzarella dish - incredibly divine!

Decided to go for a more 'local' and traditional meal on our last night in Florence and picked Francesco from Tripadvisor. Couldn't have been more happy. Great setting, just a few mins walk from the centre. Food was good, especially my Fiorentine Egg Benedictive starter. Our waiter was the best we had in Florence and great value. 2 courses each... Great antipastis and a fabulous Fiorentina steak of 1,5kg!! Perfectly done and very tasty! The wine suggestion was honest and good. The location is really nice and with a very nice and trendy atmosphere. Eating on the terrace was the sherry on the cake !

This is a great restaurant at the right price, we all loved so much on the menu we went back a second time and it was just as good. The risotto with caramelised pear, pecorino and truffle was as good as the Mossimon truffle risotto and the chicken wrapped in ham and stuffed with pecorino and truffle was fantastic. The... More
