We came across this delightful restaurant by chance, and enjoyed a superb meal sitting outside in the courtyard-style environment in which it finds itself. Our waiter was excellent, with a great sense of humor, and although the food is on the pricier side, we had a good bottle of prosecco that was very reasonably-priced. We would love to return!

Sort of stumbled on this place in Florence. Very good service by the server who spoke good English. All of the food was good. The florentine steak was awesome. The locals serve this very rare and they had no problem adding a little heat for this american!

We had the Bistecca alla Fiorentina and it was quite possibly the greatest steak I have ever tasted! To top it off the waiters were very friendly and the wine was excellent.

While only a small restaurant, the food was fantastic and they were happy to cater for any dietary needs.

Chanced upon this restaurant as we meandered through the streets. We ate luch here surrounded by Italians which must be a good sign. We loved it so much we ate dinner there one night as well. Waiter was extremely attentive and helpful. We had a three course meal each with a good bottle of red wine which cost 86 euros.

We stumbled upon this fantastic bar after visiting the Basilica di Santa Croce, and ended up eating there on more than one occasion. The service and food were excellent just as the previous reviews have stated, but what made it for us was Daniel the waiter. Daniel claims to be half Italian and half Croatian, he can speak several languages... More

Good honest locally prepared and well presented food. We booked for dinner but this may bot always be necessary out of the main season. The food was excellent and the waiters choices of wines was first class. Good selection on the menu while the daily specials were well explained. We would happily eat here again when in Florence.

We had amazing pasta. We had a nice area to ourselves to talk and eat good bread and olive oil on our bread as well as delicious 'spicy spaghetti' which was excellent and perfect. Not much to say except I'd definitely recommended it. Recommended to us by a couple of locals.

We went here as part of our group tour. The wine was delicious, the starter of meats and cheese tasty, lovely pasta, tiramisu delicious and great, friendly service. The restaurant is like a cave! Great atmosphere. It's close to karaoke also.

Fantastic restaurant! I've eaten here many times and really believe that everyone who visits Florence should stop by this place. Delicous food, delectable wine and lovely service! My favourite dishes, and must-trys are the pasta with green beans and pesto, the Florentine Steak, the tomato bruschetta, any pizza, the cheesecake and tiramissu and practicaly anything else on the menu.
