You would not believe the porterhouse!

When in Florence one must have the famous Beefsteak al la Florentine. And this is the place to have it. A mammoth 1.5 kg tender porterhouse from a local breed of cow, cooked rare. More than enough for two.

My mum and dad have been going to this restaurant for a few years and chose it for my dad's 80th celebrations...the bistecca had been ordered ahead for my husband and nephew (but they always have it!) and a few of the girls had the most delicious fillet cooked in a wine sauce...those who had space for creme brullee (my... Quiet place with excellent menü for wine & dine. Service is professional yet casual, feels secure and peaceful. The decoration and the people makes you feel excited for exploring this wonderful city.

My wife and I have had several good meals at Francesco Vini over the year but lunch on this trip was a bust. My wife ordered pizza and I ordered the beef steak slices. My food was delivered to the table without the pizza. We waited and then asked about the pizza. The waiter said "what pizza". He had clearly... More

Nice and pleasant experience, the deco is typical with great service and food. A very good choice of Chianti wines, one of the best we tried is Berardo Chianti Classico Riserva 2010 - Castello Di Bossi!

Really enjoyed our authentic meal at this restaurant. Not a ton of American tourists - which was nice.

We tried this restaurant as I had read about it on Tripadvisor, unfortunately it was slightly disappointing. We started with the Crostini Toscani and the waiter explained the toppings. Then I had ordered pasta and my husband ordered pizza. His pizza arrived, and I sat and sat and motioned to the waiter that I was wating on my pasta. He... More

We were on a day trip to Florence, and were lucky enough to find this restaurant. The staff were friendly and made you feel welcomed. We shared a starter of Crostini Toscani and was not disappointed. We both had a pasta dish for our main course. We enjoyed the house red wine, which we felt was reasonably priced. Would recommend... More

We came across this delightful restaurant by chance, and enjoyed a superb meal sitting outside in the courtyard-style environment in which it finds itself. Our waiter was excellent, with a great sense of humor, and although the food is on the pricier side, we had a good bottle of prosecco that was very reasonably-priced. We would love to return!

Sort of stumbled on this place in Florence. Very good service by the server who spoke good English. All of the food was good. The florentine steak was awesome. The locals serve this very rare and they had no problem adding a little heat for this american!
